40 Days and 40 Nights

I am not a fan of romcom films, I like one or two but I am rarely amused by them. I particulalrly enjoyed Dinner With The President. Last night I saw that 40 days and 40 nights was on tv. I have seen this film before and I do recall finding it mildly entertaining. Thinking about the plot I recall that it involved a man avoiding orgasm for 40 days. Seeing the obvious BDSM connotations I decided to watch the movie.

I have to say I really did enjoy it and found it mildly arousing. The power the lady had over the man was intriguing and I found the film reasonably well acted. There was an erotic scene with an undelying BDSM tone (the flower scene not the one at the end) which I thought was a nice idea for softer play in BDSM. I would recommend this film to any BDSM enthusiast, its not porn and not the sexiest film in the world but it has a number of interesting dynamics. Enjoy!

Building A Dungeon

So now that my household has finally settled in Sydney, I have been asked to help design and build the dungeons. I have had a few ideas fo the general theme, I am basically going for a prison look using different rooms and cages. The holding cells will be kept damp and cool, expecially for the resident prisoner and the main dungeon shal remain hot and dry. None of hte rooms will be too well lit to add a sense of menace so hopefully i will create the desired effect.

Inthe main dungeon I have instructed installation of a large table and steel rings bolted to the floor and ceiling to faciliate bondage. When time allows I shall consider some other options to expand the detail a little. I will keep you posted. Suggestions are welcome.

Contractual Agreements

I was asked by friend to offer my thoughts on the use of BDSM contracts (for lack of the appropriate jargon). My reply was that they are complicated and require detail and can be fiddly. However, a lot can be said for their implementation in terms of adding to the relationship. My conclusion was that I suggest getting to know your partner better and then discussing it before drawing one up. Training the sub in basic behaviour and etiquette beforehand makes writting and adhering to a contract a lot easier.I welcome your thoughts.
