Welcome to the new and revamped edition of the "Edging to Categories Game"



What's Edging To Categories 2017?
- An interactive tease and denial game
- It mainly focuses on edging to categories
- The main categories are chosen by you
- An additional category is chosen by the next participant
- It includes daily and challenges tasks based on rolls
- Full release is allowed after earning a certain amount of points
- Points are rewarded by completing your edges, challenges and adding material
- You can come back daily to actively enjoy all of the above
- If you lose control you have to ruin your orgasm and you will be punished by losing points

THE RULES

How does the edging system work?

- Everyday, you have to do the three rolls and have to edge to material posted on the last three pages of this forum topic
- You usually only have to edge for material matching your categories on those three pages
- For pictures you edge once
- For gifs you edge twice
- For videos you edge once every minute
- You also have to edge once for every material that you post
- By doing so, following all instructions and manage to keep control, you earn points
- Every additional page that you do earns you even more points

How do the rolls work?

- Each time you come to play, you must first do three rolls. You should do them before starting to edge for they may affect many rules
- They all have different outcomes. They will mainly make it harder for you or others, but they can also make it easier
- The first roll focuses mainly on the player
- The second roll focuses on the other players
- The third roll is an additional challenge/task to earn or steal points
- If someone has attributed a specific outcome to you it will go in effect the moment that you read it and the effect lasts 1 day unless stated otherwise

How to earn a full release?

- Everyone starts with 500 points
- 5000 points are needed to get a full release

Earning points
- Completing all your edges from the last three pages of the topic: 300 points
- Every additional page: 100 points
- Completing a video: 50 points
- Every picture/gif/video you post: 20 points
- Completing the daily challenge: 200 points (unless stated otherwise)
- If another participant loses control/ruins to the material you have posted: 1000 point
- Rolling an additional time in the first table: 100 points

Losing points
- It may be wise to not complete all your edges and suffer a lesser penalty to avoid losing control and getting the biggest penalty.
- Completing everything except for the last page: - 100 points
- For every additional page you have not completed: - 200 points
- Losing control and having to ruin your orgasm: - 3000 points. Make sure to post the video/picture/gif you have lost control to so the person who posted it can claim his/her reward!

Spending points
- Full release: 5000 points
- After succesfully completing your edges you can buy a ruined orgasm for: 2000 points
- An additional roll on the second table: 400 points
- Reroll per die: 200 points
- Change a category: 300 points

GETTING STARTED

How to start?

- Because the game does not have a set beginning or an end you can jump in anytime you like by follow the steps below and posting the moment you feel like it
- You'll share three categories that you like (for an example: ass, stockings, lesbian).
- The player after you will add another category to your chosen categories. He/she can add a category that will make it more likely that you'll be edging even more (for an example: blondes).
- The categories you have chosen plus the additional category from the player after you will be what you'll edge to.
- Before you start roll the three dice under the sections below and follow the instructions corresponding your outcome.

THE ROLLS

Roll 1: This outcome will mainly affect you

- Set the minimum to 0 and the maximum to 40.
- The outcome lasts for one day and then you are allowed to roll again

1. then you will do additional edges for every chosen category that is included in a picture or gif (extreme example: if you have chosen the categories 'stockings, lesbian and redheads + heels' then you'll edge four times to a picture if all categories are included and eight times to a gif that contains all your categories). Videos: you will have to do an additional edge in every minute of the video for every included category (one category means one edge per minute, two categories means two edges per minute etc).

- Set the minimum to 0 and the maximum to 25.
- You are allowed to roll every day
- The outcome only lasts a day
- There is a small chance you will be allowed release
- Unless stated otherwise you get 200 points for completing the challenge
-Requested material within these challenges: You only get additional points for material posted by yourself.

IF YOUR NUMBER IS:
1. King of the Hill: you challenge a player to do the most edges in a day. The one that wins steals 300 points of the other player.
2. Robin Hood: you give a video to a player he/she has to edge to (related to his category). For every category (from the player you assign it to) that is in the video you may steal 50 points and give it to a third player.
3. Together We Stand: Link yourself to a player. Together you lose 600 points (300 points each). You can both earn the points back if you do a certain amount of edges (every edge corresponds to 10 points: meaning 30 edges each if divided equally). If you manage to complete it then the player who has this as a roll option also gets the completion bonus. The player you choose decides how the edges are divided.
4. Capture A Moment: Post two gifs for every category you have
5. Movie Star: Post a video for every category you have
6. Still Life: Post two pictures for every category you have
7. Climbing the ladder: Then you have to hold edges using the edge ladder (this is the loop you will have to follow: 0 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, 0 seconds).
8. No Pain No Gain: Hold your last edge as long as you can. The amount of seconds are the edges you are free to give to another player.
9. Last Man Standing: Challenge a player for an edge holding contest. He/she who holds the edge the longest (in one try) gets to steal 300 points of the opponent.
10. All Seeing-Eye: You have to do one additional edge to all the material that has been posted in the last three days (even if they do not include your categories)
11. Overworking: You have to cover all the pages of the forum (if you have completed this challenge you will get the completion bonus and 100 extra points for every additional page)
12. Eager Beaver: The one who has shared the most material in the past three days gets 100 of your points. If you have posted the most you get an additional 100 points (on top of your completion points) that you steal from the player that has posted the least
13. Biwinning: You and someone of your choice has to double his/her edges. If both complete it then you both get the completion bonus.
14. Time Will Tell: Check the time, the minutes correspond to the amount of edges you have to do to your favorite porn video.
15. What's My Age Again: Guess the age of your favorite pornstar. If it is correct you get the completion reward. If not then you will edge her age to one of her/his videos. Make sure to post the video.
16. Tumbling Down: Go to your favorite tumblr page. Now use the randomizer used in this game, but set the minimum on 10 and the maximum on 50. Those are the amount of pictures you have to edge to. If it includes one of your categories in this game you will edge twice, if not then you will edge once.
17. Can't Touch This: You have to watch every video (maximum of three videos) that has been posted in the last three pages without touching yourself. If you are done you may start doing your edges.
18. The Only One: After you have done all your edges you roll the six-faced die and if it lands on 1 you have to ruin your orgasm. You lose half of your points. The other rolls give you points (result x 100).
19. Call It Even: Roll a die. If it lands on an even number you get to choose one of the options on this list and give it to another player. If it lands on an odd number someone else gets to select a challenge for you. The person who gives the challenge gets the points.
20. Chain Lightning: Post a gif/pic/video. The person that posts after you has to include material in his post that is related to your posted material. A chain starts. The person who breaks the chain (does not post a video/pic/gif that is related to the gifs/pic of the previous participant) gives you 300 of his/her points.
21. Double Trouble: Then you have to double all your edges and if you manage to do them without ruining then you are allowed a full release that is free of charge.
22. Triple X: Then have to triple all your edges for one of your category, but if you manage to do them without ruining your orgasm you are allowed a full orgasm that is free of charge.
23. Slippery Slope: Then you have to ruin your orgasm an additional time if you lose control
24. Begging You For Mercy: then you are allowed to ask someone for release, but if your request is denied all your edges are doubled
25. All Of The Above: then you will do additional edges for every chosen category that is included in a picture or gif (extreme example: if you have chosen the categories 'stockings, lesbian and redheads + heels' then you'll edge four times to a picture if all categories are included and eight times to a gif that contains all your categories). Good summary I think. It doesn't say that it is a daily rendezvous though. It also misses the instruction about losing control and forcibly ruining orgasm (it may not seem obvious to all :) ).

Well this is the part I don't get...
The difference between losing control and spending points to ruin an orgasm isn't that clear to me. It looks to me that you should spend 2k to save the rest of your credits in case you lose control. Maybe separate things you can buy before edging and things you can buy after edging ? That way, 2000 points only buys a ruined orgasm AFTER you've edged successfully. Clearer that way I think.

I don't get what is the "fourth roll" challenge to which failure costs 200pts.

Maybe add an advice to emphasis the benefits of NOT completing all edges without risking losing control. Please also note that "not completing" all edges means that it only costs 100 points to skip all pages :)
I would recommend inflicting 100 points penalty for not completing edges and an additional 200 for each page you haven't already started (say you stop on the first out of 3 pages, it costs you 500 points (100+200+200)).

Losing control and resetting all points really feels too much. I recommend losing like 2000 or 3000 points, should be a strong enough penalty.

I would actually reward players for doing additional rolls in some cases. This is a strong risk taking. Spending points to roll again on the 2nd table is a good competitive move though. That would be the one I would make cost 300pts (or even more).
My gut feeling : gain 100 points for each new roll on the 1st table, lose 500pts for each new roll on the 2nd table.

Did it work well in the last session ? it seemed to me the chain broke. Shouldn't you limit the chain to 3 posters ?

35. then you may set one category of another player on inactive
36. then you will post 4 pictures and/or gifs of your own category and roll again

Roll 3: This roll gives you a chance to earn points by doing a task or by challenging others

Instructions for the daily tasks:
- Go to https://www.random.org
- Set the minimum to 0 and the maximum to 25.
- You are allowed to roll every day
- The outcome only lasts a day
- There is a small chance you will be allowed release
- Unless stated otherwise you get 200 points for completing the challenge

IF YOUR NUMBER IS:
1. King of the Hill: you challenge a player to do the most edges in a day. The one that wins gets (steals ?) 300 points of the other player.
2. Robin Hood: you give a video to a player he/she has to edge to (related to his category). For every category (from the player you assign it to) that is in the video you may steal 50 points and give it to someone else. "to a third player" (if that's what you meant)
3. Together We Stand: Link yourself to a player. Together you lose 600 points (300 points each). You can both earn the points back if you do a certain amount of edges (every edge corresponds to 10 points: meaning 30 edges each if divided equally). If you manage to complete it then the player who has this as a roll option also gets the completion bonus. Who divides the edges ?
4. Capture A Moment: Post two gifs for every category you have Do you also earn points for posting this material ?
5. Movie Star: Post a video for every category you have Do you also earn points for posting this material ?
6. Still Life: Post two pictures for every category you have Do you also earn points for posting this material ?
7. Climbing the ladder: Then you have to hold edges using the edge ladder (this is the loop you will have to follow: 0 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, 0 seconds). for each edge I guess
8. No Pain No Gain: Hold your last edge as long as you can. The amount of seconds are the edges you are free to give to another player.
9. Last Man Standing: Challenge a player for an edge holding contest. He/she who holds the edge the longest (in one try) gets to steal 300 points of the opponent.
10. All Seeing-Eye: You have to do one additional edge to all the material that has been posted in the last three days Even for videos ? Seems light
11. Overworking: You have to cover all the pages of the forum You're a madman :) Do you also earn points for each additional pages you then have to do ?
12. Eager Beaver: The one who has shared the most material in the past three days gets 100 point of your points. If you have posted the most you get an additional 100 points (on top of your completion points) What about stealing 100 points to players who have posted less than you during this time ?
13. Biwinning: You and someone of your choice has to double his/her edges. If both complete it then you both get the completion bonus.
14. Time Will Tell: Check the time, the minutes correspond to the amount of edges you have to do to your favorite porn video.
15. What's My Age Again: Guess the age of your favorite pornstar. If it is correct you get the completion reward. If not then you will edge her age to one of her/his videos. Make sure to post the video.
16. Tumbling Down: Go to your favorite tumblr page. Now use the randomizer used in this game, but set the minimum on 10 and the maximum on 50. Those are the amount of pictures you have to edge to. If it includes one of your categories in this game you will edge twice, if not then you will edge once.
17. Can't Touch This: You have to watch every video that has been posted in the last three pages without touching yourself. If you are done you may start doing your edges.
18. The Only One: After you have done all your edges you roll the die and if it lands on 1 you have to ruin your orgasm. You lose half of your points. The other rolls give you points (result x 100). A regular dice, I presume ? Six-faced ?
19. Call It Even: Roll a die. If it lands on an even number you get to choose one of the options on this list and give it to another player. If it lands on an odd number someone else gets to select a challenge for you. The person who gives the challenge gets the points.
20. Chain Lightning: Post a gif/pic/video. The person that posts after you has to include material in his post that is related to your posted material. A chain starts. The person who breaks the chain (does not post a video/pic/gif that is related to the gifs/pic of the previous participant) gives you 300 of his/her points.
21. Double Trouble: Then you have to double all your edges and if you manage to do them without ruining then you are allowed a full release. Free of charge :) ?
22. Triple X: Then have to triple all your edges for one of your category, but if you manage to do them without ruining your orgasm you are allowed a full orgasm. Free of charge :) ?
23. Slippery Slope: Then you have to ruin your orgasm an additional time if you lose control
24. Begging You For Mercy: then you are allowed to ask someone for release, but if your request is denied all your edges are doubled
25. All Of The Above: then you will do additional edges for every chosen category that is included in a picture or gif (extreme example: if you have chosen the categories 'stockings, lesbian and redheads + heels' then you'll edge four times to a picture if all categories are included and eight times to a gif that contains all your categories). What about videos ?

Having a look through the new idea I found a couple of things that I though might need some tweaking:

- Not completing all your edges: - 100 points

Personally I think this should be higher, maybe something like -300? I think -100 isn't much at all.

17. Can't Touch This: You have to watch every video that has been posted in the last three pages without touching yourself. If you are done you may start doing your edges.

I also worry that if a lot of videos are posted, espcially long ones, this could end up taking a very long time that not everyone has, maybe it could be altered slightly?

Great Noah :) I've been reading the rules again to check for mistakes, and found a couple of those.

How to earn a full release?

Earning points
- If another participant loses control/ruins to the material you have posted: 1000 point
Reading this, I realize there should be some rules somewhere stating what should you do if you lose control (having to post about it, pointing the material that made you tip over, so that points can be earned accordingly)
- Rolling an additional time in the first table. Missing points here !

- The material requested by the rolls will not give you additional points for posting it since you will be rewarded with completion points instead Isn't that for the third roll ? I'm guessing the bottom line here is "you only earn points for material you post by yourself", is that what you had in mind ?

I've tried to simulate a few rolls and I realized something while rolling this :

Roll 2 :
28. then you may steal 200 points of a player and give it to another player

If I do it now (start of the game with only you in it), I have nobody to steal points to. This makes me think... should a newcomer starts out with an initial score (like 500pts starting credit), also shouldn't you authorize negative score and put players in debt ?
The debt thing could open up to new rules, like giving a Slave state to players in debt, forbidding them to spend points until they have paid their debt with material, failure of others to own material or challenges.
Slaves may be the priority targets of challenges targeting "other players". Maybe also authorize non-slave players to give out points to a slave as long as they edge for every 50pts they give, while the benefactor has to edge for them every 10pts received (if benefactor fails to do these edge, remaining due points are lost).

So many ideas :) ...
