First there is an expectancy of 3.5 on the roll for next week, but you have to account for the probability that you might lose out on that roll. Finally, add in how many you take this week.

However, remember that expectancy only pans out over the long run and anything is possible in one week!

Anyway, you have the same conclusion, just different numbers.

Ok, your problem here is that you are eliminating the possibility that numbers can be rolled next week. For example, if you take 2 this week, then you are saying that there is no chance of rolling a 1 next week [by saying (1/6)*0]. However, no matter what is rolled this week, the expected value of next weeks roll is still 3.5

You must modify that expected value by the probability that you will be able to partake in it! Which is based on this weeks roll.

No, I am not eliminating the possibility. The possibility for each number is 1/6. But if I use two points this week and the roll next week is a one. Than the number of orgasms is 0. That results in (1/6)*0. Thus the expected value of next weeks roll is not always 3.5. It depends on the first roll.

To be honest the expected value can't be determined exactly because there is still Miss Jay

Good morning Miss Jay and everyone else. I also used my first point last night and it's already very hard not to use a 2nd one but I've determined to wait, at least until tomorrow. I'm still unsure if I should go for 3 before the 2nd roll or not. Quite a devilish week to start doing the challenges.
