First off, I agree that it's a disturbing trend. America used to be a symbol of liberty. But don't be so arrogant to think that Europe will just blindly follow. I agree things are pretty bad here in London, but when I'm in Amsterdam, that's another world. So unless the Netherlands are flooded from global warming, I really don't see how Milovana is in danger for at least the next 100 years.koala17 wrote:And moreover.. if 2257 is not revoked in the U.S., it will eventually spread through the rest of the "free world".. so, for Milovana, it is only a matter of time.. :(
Also, I think it's still reasonable to be optimistic. Previous generations have been through similar crises and they didn't have the Internet. If you're concerned about these things, speak up, maybe support the right candidates a bit louder than you normally would, but don't panic.
Thanks man. We won't make a secret out of the fact that we created the site as a place for the webtease concept to live on, but we also put a lot of ideas into it that were a lot older than that. FlashTeases and the secret project are things that I've been contemplating for three or four years. OD just made it a lot easier to get things started. So, yeah I'm thankful for how things unfolded, but I also think we're a lot more than just OD's sidekick and I'm happy to hear that you guys have a similar impression.joeliwan wrote:Honestly, I miss the way OD used to be, but I can't complain too much. Without the shakeup that 2257 caused, there wouldn't have been a need for Milovana, and the creativity that has come out of this site would be lost. The team here has made leaps and bounds both in presentation and content, and I wouldn't trade that away lightly.
