Install-less, that sounds more and more appealing. But I hate Google and much as Micro$oft.

the problems are caused by how you are compiling it, although it's difficult to diagnose just from the source code. I'd be inclined to just re-write it in .NET (or Javascript if you want it to be cross platform) as C++/Win32 is just making a bunch of problems for you and your users.

Sorry to hear that it doesn't work for you. If you know the compiling options required, please step forward to help the other members. I'm just using the default C++ Builder RELEASE options without runtime libraries (so users don't have to install them either). Very simple this way. If Win32 have issues, it's because Micro$oft made it its mission to kill it. Not gonna bow to that! I moved on to UN*X anyway.

I have no plan to rewrite the Windows version using another compiler/language as I already have a program that runs pretty nicely (for those when it runs ). Too many other things to do. The media selection is optimal and very simple, and do everything I like and the way I want to see it. I didn't release this APP because I'm on a mission to conquer the world. I just released it to share with those interested that feel the same way.

Good news for those standing by. I was able to reproduce the issue. It turns out that those who installed the Win64 version of VLC are getting the 0xC000007B error. Uninstall VLC, and install the Win32 version of VLC.

I'm trying to build a Win64 target for those who want to keep their Win64 VLC version, but I currently have a link issue. More news later.

Are we watching a slide show of still pic/images on our computer while listening to a video in the background? Ive actually done this many times using an image player and then can hear the CH vid music/beats etc.

But you can do the same just by placing VLC under your slideshow player for sure (or even on the second monitor)

Yup! Quick and Easy is the key. Pics can be in several subdirectories, and you pick the one you feel most excited about at the time. Pics will be crawled systematically and recursively from there, then in all sub-directories. I don't know of any slideshow player that does that automatically. They usually limit themselves to a single directory.





So happy it now works for you, smack. Excellent idea to put a screenshot here! I haven't thought about it, so I'm copying it in my first post. Btw, it looks like you are playing a gynephilos production. Some of my favorite music tracks and beat sound (and visual content as well).

Now i understand. Thanks. I do that now and have done so for a while. Never thought to make the screens so that I can see the beat bar below - but I usually dont use or need the beat bar/meter. I just go by sound.

Another on the same concept is playing a PornHub clip that uses a metronome - there are many - playing that in the back ground but looking at the pictures or a video clip that I prefer to see.
