Tease of the month - April

Perhaps its the frequency and sickeningly brown nosing nature of comments like these , which result in some people being unable to handle criticism when it comes there way. "Maybe think about it " Those that don't brown nose aren't welcome around these here parts.

I think in order for comments to be classified brown-nosing, they have to be disingenuous and come with an expectation for gain as a result of those comments.

My respect for the effort of running a large, very active web site with an incredibly diverse group of users is pretty genuine. Obviously, I don't receive any advantage for any comments I make; else, this conversation wouldn't even be taking place.

Lastly, with rare exception, when I have an issue with someone in a matter of this nature (the one between dark and me), I take it offline, and I deal with it person to person. dark and I have discussed this issue. He knows I am upset, and he knows why. We came to an offline agreement with regard to how to proceed, and he did exactly what I asked him to do. It was an issue between him and me. We handled it ourselves. It's over with.

I have seen all the expectation that my "grammatical errors" produce,WOW¡¡ i have to said in my defense:
English its my third language. its more easy to me doing the teases in Spanish, obliviously, but i do it in English because more people could enjoy it. Some Germans do their teases in German and don´t translate it into English. my question is, Do you want my next teases in English or in Spanish? if i do it in Spanish ill do it quickly and with no errors but nobody will see it.

THATS WHY I CORRECTED THE TEASE:

This is a message for the author of this tease. This is a VERY good, quality tease. Good work on it. The only thing holding me back on adding it to my favorites is the English. There are a few parts that are almost beyond comprehension (understanding). It needs a little bit of editing, and I wouldn't mind helping you out with it. If you wouldn't object to it, I could correct the grammar of the tease and post my changes here so you can edit it and make it a truly five star tease.

Just say yes, and I will go ahead and start making these changes. Thanks Spain lugo!

Slavechlyde my comments in my last post were as you know full well, not directed towards yourself, they didnt even engange regarding the topic between you and dark as you proclaim, so please don't try to present them as though they were.

I just want to mention my apologies as well for the incident. These things happen and all we do our best to avoid them. Thanks to slavechylde for accepting our handling of the issue.

JD: It's true that our Team and myself have received way more praise than we deserve and I never tire to pass it on to the community without whom we would just be maintaining a couple of deserted servers. But I also have to say that we do our very best not to favor anybody. I have often wondered why the climate on Milovana is so positive and often feared that one day this might flip into the opposite. It impossible to live up to an idealized role. Thanks for your criticism! We will do our very best to improve. I'm not happy with the recent TOTMs either, but I do think we handled ourselves reasonably well.

I've been out of town for the last few days, and I was so excited to get back and see that I was nominated for tease of the month! I'm glad my tease has been met with such positive ratings. Thanks to all that voted for it.
I would also like to say to slavechylde that I was sad to see that your tease was left out of the voting this month. You are one of my favorite authors on the site. I'm sure you'll have many more nominated teases in the future.

Congrats to CJ on a well deserved victory in this months tease of the month. It was an excellent tease.

I would just like to say that i love this site. Why else would i keep returning. and would like to voice my thanks to those who run this site and participate by contributing to it.

Please people, don't ever take my criticisms badly i only make them to point out other perspectives and to highlight other areas which could continue to improve the site further. They are meant as "contructive questions which could only improve the site further. At no stage have i ever said this site was rubbish, or that i hate it, and i think that that is clearly evident that i as much as anybody want the site to go from strength to strength. If you don't question or consider further, some aspects, how can you improve.

Congrats again to CJ, i can tell you that this tease is on my favourites list, i don't know about anyone elses but i suspect its on a few other peoples too.
