Yes I guess in the short term we just need to hammer them with 1 votes.Banquo wrote:Yeah, that's taking the piss. We need to get a handle on this.

Re: Need for Moderator
Sadly it looks that they're also using accounts to spam their webteases with 5 votes. I just gave one a vote of 1 and the overall vote of 2 didn't move.
Edit : And the score is going up... so the guy who created the tease is creating multiple accounts to prevent his shit being 'moderated'.

Re: Need for Moderator
He's been posting those shitty advertisements from several accounts already. Banning one or more accounts won't make a difference. From what I see, he also has many accounts for rating those webteases. I was against this idea, but maybe we should have several moderators who can accept or reject webteases every day, before they appear on the site.masterofkunt wrote:Now they have stolen the O-Control title and used it on their tease to pretend to be legit.... someone needs to ban this person
Re: Need for Moderator
I'd expect that it's easy to see a voting pattern on the spam compared to everything else.
So perhaps a few votes of 1 would flag something as needing moderation and hide it, regardless of high votes. It should be possible to set a threshold that would not affect normal content, but if it does a moderator can fix it.
Alternatively moderate every tease from a new poster, and once it's been marked as ok then they don't get any more moderated.
