I received this message from my MP about this
"Noted. Lord Anderson's position on this matter is neither mine or the
Governments. I'm hopeful the matter can still be considered by the
Commons when the Bill returns from the Lords."
(He's "hopeful" that there might be 5 minutes debate on it? That's supposed to comfort me? Jeez!)

I don't think Lord Anderson's proposed amendment has been agreed by the House of Lords. In fact, I don't think this proposal has yet been discussed in the House of Lords Committee considering the Bill. From the comments when the Bill was read in the whole House of Lords, it seems unlikely that such an amendment would be accepted.
There are 4 further House of Lords Committee sessions before the many amendments are added or removed, and the Bill is represented to the House for a vote.
