Indigo said it all, we've reached an agreement and the chat will return within the next few days. However there will no longer be IRC. Sorry to everyone who was using IRC, it's just too much maintenance.

Oh and regarding closing the whole site: Over my cold dead body.

The chat is back!

Try it out, let us know what you think. We're still testing, right now we just have a test version, so it's gonna bug you with a bit of advertising. But if it works out well, we'll get a license for it.

It appears to work quite awesome.

A feature to upload own avatars would be nice, and maybe converting the forum smilies, so that we have the same smilies in the chat as in the forum.

And would it be possible to connect the Forum Friends List with the Chat Friends List ?

getting an error "over max sessions, connection failed, retry later" and not sure what that is about....
