Metronome/Volume settings?

Hey!
Sorry if that's trivial or answered somewhere - I advanced searched forum with multiple keywords and didn't found even one mention of this, so I wonder if I am being silly right now?

Anyways - is there a way to change the sound/change the volume of metronome while playing a webtease?
I cannot stand the CLING CLANG, gives me migrane immidietly - but I don't want to mute/lower volume and miss any other sound effects that creator could add.

All sound in teases - including metronomes - are mp3 files, so there's no trivial way to lower just the metronome's volume, other than editing the tease.

The highly dynamic audio in anything porn is also something I'm struggling with (unintelligible dialog => neighborhood-waking screams)

Some TVs/Receivers have a feature called "Night Mode" or similar which reduces volume differences using "Dynamic range compression". Maybe there's also an app for that?

If I have your attention already - what about controls? 90% of buttons to press are the only ones on screen, kinda lame that spacebar doesn't act as pressing it. How the userbase deal with that?
