What images are allowed to use for teases?

Webteases are great, but what if you're in the mood for a slightly more immersive experience? Chat about Tease AI and other offline tease software.

I'd like to start off by saying, cute au'ra, would definitely sub to her hehe.
As for if they're fine in a webtease, that would be a bit on the iffy side, i don't really see it being an issue but i also have never made a tease before.
and as for your other question about self promo, i feel like i've seen promos for such before, just aslong as it's after the main tease or on a side page in EOS teases.

Baseline that I can think of is, no copyrighted material, and nothing illegal, but i'd wait and see other answers.

I want to create a webtease and I have a question about it. Is it allowed to create a webtease using only pictures taken in FFXIV? I haven't seen anything like that, no vrchat teases either. The closest thing I've seen are anime teases.

Here are some examples: https://imgur.com/a/VKJq3z6

The tease I wanna make would take quite a bit of effort so I just wanna know in advance before risking to have it removed.
Also: Is it allowed to advertise your Twitter at the start/end of the tease?

Thanks!
Square Enix is very trigger happy with that kind of thing, if Square gets wind of it and it gets traction, them suing isn't out of the question. Most people don't put up Final Fantasy stuff on porn site because of it

As for the advertisement part, it's fine

Not totally sure about this, but my guess is:

-As you all probably know, using copyrighted material for commercial purposes is illegal.
-Under a no-profit condition, leaving watermarks on images should be enough to avoid major consequences. Usually, the worst that can happen is the owner asking for image removal.

Side note: an exception to copyright protection is the so-called "fair use" but, to the best of my knowledge, it is applied only to educational settings. The "fair use" exception allows to make limited use of copyrighted works without permission.
You just need to look at your tease as educational material! ;-)
