TIME FOR A CLOTHING EXCHANGE!!!

We all have beautiful things that we ordered online or were not brave enough to try on so we end up with LOTS of clothing that doesn't fit! Our bodies are also always changing so we outgrow things physically or stylistically also.

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW (or new to you).

Please participate even if you have nothing to share yet. Use this as an opportunity to make room for more fun in your closet. You deserve clothing that looks and feels good! There is no reason to hang on to clothes that don't fit. Come find the "Cinderella" to match those "perfect" glass slippers that you ordered in the wrong size from the internet.

Bring gently used (clean) clothing that is ready to go to a new home. Getting dressed and undressed is welcome, please no bare butts on the seats. We love to match outfits to their new people so that everyone has something pretty to take home. If you don't have clothing yet, please take some of ours!!!

All clothing at the clothing exchange is FREE, any ties between people who want the same thing will be determined by a STRIPPING CONTEST!

Please consider this both an opportunity to get great new clothes and an "althernative to purging."

There is a big event going on (APEC) but we are going to be having a great time outside the exclusion zone and giving away thousands of dollars worth of goodies. Come join us!

Welcome to our club of gender adventurers!

Our monthly events try to set the stakes as low as possible when it comes to welcoming people exploring their identity - especially when it is their first time out and about. I believe there is strength in numbers! None of us need to feel alone anymore.

We emphasize FUN over "passing." All gender is performative. Our members span a huge spectrum of expression and many of us change how we think of ourselves along the way. It is healthy to question and explore. Our group has gone by many names over the years, but haven't found a perfect fit that encompasses our huge variety.

We set no requirements about medical procedures, hormones, genitals, body hair or appearance-based gender signifiers. You are free to identify however you wish. Admirers and explorers are also welcome - you don't have to be feminine to celebrate with us.

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. In the past we gathered at the Wicked Grounds Coffee Shop, but now that they closed their retail storefront, we have relocated to the Folsom Street Community Center at 1286 Folsom St in San Francisco. The first part of our evening takes place from 7pm until 9pm, followed by a brief walk to the Cat Club to dance the night away at 1190 Folsom St. (last call is 2am)

Our evening is 21+ in a dance club with a bar, please have ID. There is a cover charge and paid coat check. PlayXLand at the Cat Club is a theme night featuring a dance floor and a dungeon for BDSM play (with dungeon monitors). They allow kinky scenes as long as your genitals and nipples remain covered.

CLOTHESGIVING WAS A SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather, APEC and other plot twists to attend our seasonal gratitude ritual. Fortunately the rumors of traffic and protests were mostly washed away by a brief flurry of rain before our event got started.

I am so pleased to report: the quality of the clothes was off the charts!

We saw lots of name brands, department store brands, bespoke fetish gear and even designer labels this year! I think we are raising our collective standards by allowing ourselves to start having quality clothing that we truly enjoy. Or at least, that is what I hope for all of us!

All the goodies were available to try on for anyone who wanted them and everything was "free to a good home" at our give-away. We didn't have any notable stripping contests this year to settle disputed claims on the same item, because everyone was so polite. A few people indulged me and stripped artfully in and out of dresses they were considering taking home.

There were PLENTY of clothes for everyone. One of our out-of-town members brought an extra suitcase when visiting – I love it when folks plan ahead! Many people said things like, "I only planned to donate this year," but left with the perfect outfit that they didn't know they needed.

Even after everyone offered each other impromptu stylist makeovers, we still had way more clothes than we could give away. Thank you so much for your willingness to share!

Our next clothing exchange will be on April 17, 2024 for SPRING CLEANING!
