Question regarding the Max2 and the pumping

Hi all. So like many lonely, porn-addicted guys online, I bought myself a fleshlight. Not being good enough, I got a Max2 and have used it nicely. One thing that stands out to me though - when connecting it up to the funscripts and some CH videos made by the community, one thing I've noticed is that the air-pumping feature of the toy doesn't actually do anything.

Anyone have any ideas? I've checked through editors and haven't seen anything in the scripts that could indicate using that function. Is it just that all of the script editors don't have support for the pump? That or do I need to make my own scripts using some fancy magic that actually uses the pump?

I'm guessing you're using ScriptPlayer?

I've done some playing around with the toy support code in the past, trying to come up with a more enjoyable mapping for vibrating toys. (Without much success.) And unless something's changed, it simply doesn't know how to talk to anything but the vibration side of the max-type toys. (Actually, I'm not sure the Buttplug/Intiface library has a way to control the air pump in the first place. I can't be certain, since I find rust code largely incomprehensible, but there doesn't appear to be a pump command or support for raw commands.)

Some of VirtualRealPorn's videos have scripts that will control the Max (or Nora) if you use their player, but... well, I tried a couple with the Nora once and didn't think they were very good. And if I'm understanding the technical explanations I've seen correctly, the kind of synchronized action that funscripts are normally designed to facilitate will never be possible with anything Lovense currently makes, because the BLE protocol simply can't handle commands coming that fast.
