I would take Wolverine for several reasons...

1) I like the whole "doing things his own way but in the end generally doing what's right" attitude that he has (not always in the comic books - more so in the movies)

2) The steel claws are cool (but it could make stroking and edging pretty difficult - especially if they shot out at inopportune time )

3) Cool sideburns

4) Ball slaps wouldn't be as big a deal with the super healing power

5) My Mistress has a thing for Hugh Jackman (when he's playing Wolverine especially) so it would open up lots more role-playing possibilities for us!

Besides the obvious selection of Wonder Woman, who would you choose to be?

Ok, if it has to be DC/Marvel, then I would be Frank Castle (How can a superhero be called Frank!!!!)
aka The Punisher.

I love the anti-heroes. The ones who are dirty and dangerous and break the rules to get what they want.
(sound familiar? How many edges Miss Jay? 10 - 20 was it??? )

The films were ok. I love Travolta in anything (although he doesn't play the lead).

If we can go outside of the realms of DC/Marvel then I would be The Crow. An anti-hero again. But with a wonderful gothic twist. Brandon Lee was awesome in the film.

First of all Happy Birthday Miss Jay!

second...if I was a superhero..that's a hard one, so many to choose from..

But I think that I would have to choose Hank McCoy aka. Beast from the x-men series. Smart cool and sophisticated, but when the situation calls for it, savage and reckless, not to mention that's he's blue (just like the balls on soo many of us guys here.) :)

I was going to say the Invisible Girl from Fantastic Four - but that was really just because I think Jessica Alba is really pretty. And the more I think about, I don't want to be invisible - I want people looking at me!

So, it's not a comic book, and it's not even a true super hero (although they have certain powers) but I would want to be one of the Orion Slave Girls from the original Star Trek series.

I'm sort of fuzzy on the details, but they were exotic (green skinned!), and sultry and basically moved and danced like strippers and I believe it even turned out that they weren't really slaves - they allowed themselves to be sold so that they could ensnare certain people with their abilities! At one point two guys are watching a slave girl perform and one says to the other, "They say no man can resist their charms!"

Sounds pretty good to me!

That’s what I was thinking too! And Rogue was quite a bit tougher in the comic books than in the movies!

I also really like the films wolverine is in and also Hugh Jackman (Such a cool guy!)
