I can’t say much about the pictures you tried to link. It does appear like they’ve been removed from the image host (the text of your post looked right to show the image). In general if there is a share button or link, use that instead of trying to directly copy the link to the image (less likely to be moved or taken down).
If you want to make sure the excel template is working well for you, it might be worth just trying it out with a few practice images from something like pornpics.com. That site at least is almost always stable, so you can see if it’s something you’ve done or the host which is the problem.
If you need to find the same images over again, Tineye or Yandex reverse image searches can be helpful. But relinking is always a pain.
No minimum or maximum limits for sets, although sets which are very short (<15 images or so) or maybe just a few video links I won’t add to the active player count. I consider these ‘teaser’ sets since they are much quicker to make. Teaser sets can be lots of fun to play through and are very welcome, but aren’t really comparable to the sets people spend quite some time on. I don’t know of any other service that allows linking images that aren’t full size, but also aren’t tiny thumbnails though.

I played this a few days ago so my feedback might be a bit limited, and wow this one again edged me crazy! Lots and lots of edges. I didn’t count the exact number since videos made this difficult sadly but still it was intense.
