[OPEN BETA] Cock Hero - Perversion

Hello, long-time lurker, first-time poster here. First, I'd like to thank this community, especially the creators here: you've all made something wonderful.

I've created my first Cock Hero and I call it "Perversion". Before I release it I'd like some beta-testers to help me refine it. I'm mostly looking for input about the beats and structure of the video. The clips which make it into the final cut will mostly not be the same as those in the beta, although they will come from the same source materials.

This is not a finished product, so WAIT for the final release, if you can (after all, this is a webteasing community). No promises, but I'm targeting:

If you do watch this, I'm looking for constructive criticism, especially in the music-beat alignment department. This was my first time using SklaveDaniel's Beatmeter Generator (fantastic software, thank-you if you read this) and I'm sure I've buggered some stuff up. I'd also like to know if my beats are objectively too fast/slow or complex/simple in any sections.

Although any input is welcome, it should be noted that everybody has personal tastes about content, pacing, beatmeters (position, style, beat sound), music and other design choices. Mine are already reflected in "Perversion", to the best of my abilities. Your tastes may differ. That being said, I would like the final product to appeal to as many as possible, without drastic alteration.

WARNING: The content of this video gets quite hardcore (although it remains softcore for a significant chunk). If you didn't like the Madness series, then the later rounds may not be for you. Content includes:

Note: These download links will only be valid for the beta period. I will delete the Mega file and I will not continue to seed the beta after the final release. Final releases will be torrent only. I will rely on you guys to post to any streaming sites or Mega, as you see fit, since I really don't want to deal with any DMCA action.

About the file size: Yes, 4 GB is a lot for a typical hour of HD video. However, there are a lot of keyframes in this video and it is 60fps to make a smoother beatmeter and to better utilize the 60fps sources. Also, all of the sources are 4K. The final releases will be better compressed. I'm targeting:

• 720p@30fps h.264 -> 1 GB
• 1080p@60fps h.265 -> 3 GB
• 2160p@60fps h.265 -> 8 GB

No promises there; I just wanted to explain what seems to be a bloated file. Trust me, it's jam-packed.

EDIT: The WARNING was updated to be more clear about the content. The italicized bits were added to emphasize that this production as a whole is not comparable to Madness, but rather that anyone who does not like the hardcore content of Madness will also not like the content of the later rounds. As a further clarification, this is not a claim that the latter rounds are comparable either, just that their content occasionally "crosses the line" for some people.

Hi there

Just took a look through your beta so here is my feedback.
Remember that ultimately you should make the cock hero that you yourself would like to play, so some of my comments may not apply to your vision.

Consider moving the beat-meter marker to the center of the screen. It gets tiresome to look in the corner. and it gets especially tiresome if the beatmeter is small and the color-contrast is low. You can also slow down the beat-meter speed a bit.

Beat Sync is overall pretty good. In a few places it goes off by 5-10ms. but that is a minor issue.

Beat patterns suffer in quite a few places, mainly because of the song choices. A main thing I have become aware of when editing cock-heroes, is that lyric focused tracks often works very poorly when creating beat patterns.

What will often happen is that you get long down times, and stretches where the patterns become akward. And whenever you have an akward pattern, the player will have to look at the beat meter. (And if the beatmeter is small, in the corner, and has low contrast coloring) This leads to broken immersion.

As much as we all enjoy old-school rap I find that this kind of music works out terribly for cock-hero videos, For me at least these rounds are unplayable.

I realize that this is an element you will not change this time around. But for the next time, I recommend you pick out songs that automatically makes you stroke to the rhythm. The perfect cock hero track would be one that contains varying but very intuitive rhythms. So that the role of the beat-meter becomes more of a background guide than something you have to pay attention to all the time.

Content wise I would probably not market this one as "madness". Both the songs and the actions lacks that kind of aggressiveness. Since the first 20 minutes more or less is solo girl, I would probably market this one more as a slow build with hardcore ending.
In general, I would say the overall pacing is slow most of the time, with a sudden ramp-up at the very end. So if this is your kind of thing then go for it.

I know this is a beta, so don't take this the wrong way. But the video editing more or less looks random to me. For a start, don't worry too much about this. It's better to get started and then improve later. But for a primer, I would advice you to look into the basics of film editing. Pretty much you should edit every clip and cut with intention: Where does the viewer eye move, what should the intensity be in this moment, where should we build suspense, where should we have release. etc.
And with the added layer of music, how you match the rhythm of audio and video becomes critical to the experienced immersion.

In short, to do this kind of editing takes a lot of practice and time, so for that I will just wish you good luck.

I realize it's difficult to put in fresh music for CH tracks, and everyone's tastes are different. I've also not done any creation myself, so consider my perspective as just one:

I spent the bulk of the time wondering where the hardcore was. I understand tastes and definitions are different from person to person, and I don't go for the softcore/cutesy-teen/Playboy-esque videos. There's a huge swath of content that falls between the definition of "softcore" and "hardcore", and it looks like 90% of this video falls into the grey between.

The music on so many CH videos is just plain distracting, doesn't "match" the scene, and lyrical elements just kill any kind of mood or obliterate actual porn sounds. Not everyone is strictly visually-aroused, and a lack of any scene audio that's blasting pop tracks is a no-go for me. It seems like you picked music to match a beat track, and didn't have any consideration for the scene it was playing over, *at least* matching up a general tone is one I'll check out more than once, and not end up skipping through if I hate the music.

We've been spoiled by the non-ch videos by supermassive, and by the high quality work of numberonefan. The attention to matching up the total experience instead of cobbling elements together is probably the biggest dividing line in this category.

This just feels like one of a hundred CH videos circa 2016, forgettable and not one I'd go back to for replay.

I'll update my initial post so it isn't misleading about the content. I had intended only to warn that the content eventually becomes hardcore, not to imply that the whole thing is comparable to Madness. That was poorly worded.

I'll take the advice about the beatmeter. Perhaps I should increase the size as well as centring it and slowing it down.

As for the songs, I could certainly be persuaded to replace a few of them. I'd like to wait for more feedback to see if there's any consensus there. I'm not worried about the time or effort or replacing them, so if anybody has suggestions, they are more than welcome.

I would like to know exactly where my beats are off by 5-10ms, so I can fix those bits, please. Just the song name/round number would be great, at least.

I would also like to mention again that these clips are mostly not the ones that will be in the final release. Think of them as out-takes or placeholders. That being said, I can't edit with anything like the level of cohesion or intention that the top-tier creators do, especially due to some technical limitations in the software that I'm using. There's a lot of work and a lot of learning to be done before I get there. You've certainly given me food for thought about future releases.

I give good review, 5 Stars all around apart from the sound track selection. I've never made a CH! however with the "2 live crew" tracks (aka 'rap') just kill it! Mostly considering the songs in the vid should escalate to a sexy climax however the 'rude rappers' just steal the film. This is not an erotic CH or even a turn on! Some Madonna tacks would proven been better!
P.S. I have stopped he video at 45:00 to mention the track selection due to erotic loss! homes!

The beatmeter has some issues that make it really hard to relax and enjoy the porn, which is kinda the point, right?

Some suggestions:

• Increase the contrast for beatmeter; any time there's a white background, the meter is practically invisible. Try using a color, a black background, or some shadow. Or all three. If you want the meter to be less prominent, keep the beats simple and then make the meter fade out after a couple repetitions for each new pattern.
• A visual indicator of when the beat changes is helpful. You can straight-up announce the new pattern in the middle (or middle-bottom) of the screen (e.g. the old classic CH's which say like 1-1 or 3-3 or Doubletime, etc). Some less obtrusive beatmeters I've seen do this well by highlighting the first beat or first cycle of a new pattern, either with a different color or a different background. That way, the player only needs to look down to grok the new pattern for a short while after each change. For bonus points, let the on-screen content coast without many edits while the player is learning the new beat, so the player doesn't feel like they're missing something by looking down.
• During fast and complicated beats, I felt the on-screen content changed way too fast for it to actually be difficult. For me personally, it takes a second or two to figure out what's going on in a scene, so if I'm only given 10 frames of each scene and can't get my bearings, it just turns into visual noise which actually made the faster/complicated beats easier to resist. Go through your own favorite CHs and find the scenes where you fail the most, and watch how long each edit goes for.
• It could benefit from a more concrete cum round; I know the last metered round was called that, but it wasn't clear when it was going to end. I know not everybody wants a cum countdown with facials and it's a bit cliche at this point, but it's cliche for a reason... And the bonus round felt like you ran out of steam.

Outside of those relatively technical issues, I really like the progression and the inclusion of new actors that haven't appeared much in other CHs. The teen content felt especially fresh and fit with the music, and the softcore->hardcore progression was good. And the difficulty curve (fast, then backing off as the content gets harder, then varied) was also quite good - a lot of CH first-timers are either all over the place or only progress from easier to harder with no variety.

Tough crowd, I thought this was really good for a first production. Though from the name and description I was expecting more in the way of gangbangs orgies etc, it's fairly tame compared to the Madnesses
