Thongs, especially really nice ones, are delicate. Washing machines are rough. But that may, or may not, be what the original person that mentioned it was referring to.

Anyway...when it comes to "wearing panties", I prefer to express my girlie side by wearing cotton string bikinis. However, when it comes to viewing ladies in panties, I am partial to g-strings or boyshorts, preferrably sheer.
