I have found some Errors

If i enter the list rules section at assistant. Return doesn't work.I'am cached in a loop.

Run two and three failed in an edge-a-ton or similar, where it stops responding to user input. Seemingly in an endless loop. But as I stop the session it logs WARNING: End Edge was called but can't find an active edge!

The context might help out, plus there are some other errors not mentioned, so here are the logs from the three runs:

Can you please check out and try the build I attached to this post: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=20717&p=279318#p279181 regarding the stroking issues?

Just pushed a new update. Startup issue should be fixed ,however seems like you were missing a folder for some reason. Probably because it has no files.

Try edge a ton again with the build I linked above pls.

Fixed other errors in your log files too.

No not yet. But I have been working on a function to save a session when you are stuck and then restore it to that point (or at least to restore it into the normal module cycle)

Some specific things:
Time spent doesn't appear to actually get tracked. At least, info always shows "null minutes doing a total of 0 chores".

Sorry for the lack of updates. I wanted to release it / put the finishing touches on it but like always real life and other interests got in the way. I wish I was able to clone myself and work on everything I am planning at the same time :-/

I can't give an ETA right now. Exams are coming up and it depends a lot on whether I can find the motivation to work on this instead of other projects for the time of exams since my time is very limited. Which means it depends a lot on whether I can stay away from jerking of to not lose interest again :rolleyes:

I don't think you're fully understanding this. With Spicy Java seeming to be the only viable reason for using TAIJava, then a lot of people are wanting to see if it's worth bothering with the port from standard TAI. The original Spicy was a great example of a brilliant idea that was implemented exceedling badly. People just want to know if Java Spicy lives up to the hype and to get a flavour of it. Right now you're blocking development of new personalities for both formats of TAI because no one knows which is better. 1885 effectively killed Miss Blue by releasing Fury but without incorporating the changes from Sweet Patch and making his own changes, so it's now impossible to run both Miss Blue and Fury from the same .exe

This forum is dying and interest is lacking because there's been no communication and developers/scripts writers are just bored of the uncertainty. If you want this place to gather pace, then releasing the Alpha of Spicy Java will at least give folks an idea of where to direct attention to.

You know that I am doing all of this for free, in my free time and additionally because I can also get something out of it by having my own personalised personality? The personalities in this forum have always been slow in development. Miss Blue is awesome but no updates on the new version progress. Fury has a good base but lacks many features that Miss Blue offers and House of Tease is a pile of different things thrown together and not too well structured imo. All of the personalities are interesting but slow in development or even cancelled. I am sorry that I cannot fulfill your needs right now but I have a real life as well as a lot of different duties waiting for me. I would love to work on Spicy 24/7 and have it finished in no time but that's sadly not how it works. I can release an alpha version but I am kinda afraid of disappointing people with bugs and so on.

Sorry, but I think I have to disagree on some of your points.

1. Please let's don't forget that all the work around TAI, TAIJava and most of the other projects are done for free, in the authors free time.
Nobody 'has' to deliver anything at all, and yeah, ... I wish by myself that there would be more activity in the forum, more new content, more new everything, ... but such things don't fall from the sky.

This reads like you know what other people, users, developers and scripts writers actually thinking.
Would be of interest if you just assumed what they think, or do you have some insights which I don't have?
(I don't wanna sound harsh or such, it's just that there is a difference between assuming and knowing)

3. I don't think that GodDragon is blocking any development.
Just take me as an example, ... I think I maybe could call myself a developer since I have already released some unofficial patches, ... and GodDragon's not-yet-releasing didn't stopped me to work on the next one (already 'finished' some days ago, but it needs to be tested for a while before I want to publish it).
Also I am working on a new personality (well, not really a 'new' personality, but it will be some sort of a modification/remix of existing ones with some new scripts and elements),... anyway, also for that, GodDragon's not-yet-releasing didn't stopped me here as well, ... and why should it?

If you or anyone else has a good idea for a new personality, just start it! :)
You could start with the old TAI, which is easier to script for, ... and if you really come to a point where the old TAI is too limited for what you have in mind, then you could start to think of creating it for TAI Java.
(Or ask for new features for the old one ;-) )

I didn't tested Miss Blue with the Fury patch, are you sure that Miss Blue doesn't work with the Fury patch?
But anyway, what I do know is that 1885 incorporated most of the features from the sweet patch, as well as most of the new features from my unofficial patch. (You can find that info in the Fury thread's first post)

But even if he wouldn't have incorporated these patches, I don't understand how this would 'kill' Miss Blue,... even if you have to run 2 different personalities from 2 different .exe, ... so what?

I hope you don't mind that I don't agree on your argumentation, again, I don't want to sound rude, aggressive or harsh, it's just my opinion, my 2 cents to the topic. :-)
