I run a casual porn blog on Tumblr, got a message earlier from someone who wanted an invite code, so I'd be happy to help take care of invites through my blog for people on Tumblr who want to register, give them a quick check beforehand to make sure they're not a bot or anything of course. If I can get infinites then I can stick in my Tumblr bio that I can offer registration for anyone looking if that is helpful at all! :)
Go for it! When you run out of your initial four, let us know and I'll get you some more!
How I decide whether to up the limit
I should probably explain how I decide whether to give someone extra invites: I look primarily at the number of their codes that have already been redeemed. Note that if you give out codes and people don't redeem them, I can't see that. My recommendation would be that you should give the same code to someone else - perhaps letting the original recipient know that they waited too long. Maybe also let people know upfront that they should redeem their code right away or risk losing it.
(It's a bit weird if you give a code to someone else and then the original recipient redeems it before the new recipient has a chance to. If that becomes an issue, I'll add a feature where the owner of an invite can re-issue the codes. I.e. take an existing invite and just generate a new code for it, invalidating the old one. But I don't want to make this too complicated if I don't need to.)
In the future, the idea is that getting additional invites will depend largely on the quality of your initial invites. If you invite four people and two of them made highly rated teases, expect to get a lot of invites. If you invite four people and two of them are spammers and the other two never log in, don't expect to get your limit upped. For right now, I'm happy to be a little bit more lenient as we work through the backlog of people who've been waiting to get on the site.
Reducing limits back to normal
Another quick point to set expectations: Limit increases aren't permanent - if you get a high limit, but you never invite anybody, expect the limit to get lowered back down after a while. That said, we will
never deactivate your existing invite codes except if you invite a bunch of spammers and we're trying to plug the hole. (...poor choice of words...)
