Please forgive the long post.

Long time lurker (since the beginning), first time poster.

I was thinking since this is the time of year where we see a bunch of "best of" lists and we see a lot of Oscar hyped movies being released; wouldn't it be great to have something similar on Milovana's web site. Call it the Millies or the Virtual Vana instead of Oscar or Emmy.

What triggered this for me was the TOTM for November - the Vanessa one. Great tease, very unique - thinking outside of the box. I was thinking if there was Tease of the Year (TOTY), then this one could win.

I think the voting could be done by the powers that be, the operators of the site, or have some sort of voting priviledge ( a board if you will). If you have been a member for a year and have posted in the forums or created teases at least once every month, then you would qualify as a voter for the year end prizes.

I'm just brain dumping here, but there could be many envelopes being handed out:

- Best Tease of the Year
- Best Flash Tease of the Year
- Best Mini-Series
- Best Long Series
- Best Actress
- Best Actor
- Best Tease for Women
- Best Tease for Couples
- Best Themed Tease (i.e. humiliation, cuckold, CBT, whatever)
- Best Foreign Tease (for our German friends)
- Best Grammar

And these envelopes don't have to be limited to teases...

- Best Forum post
- Best Fiction story

Perhaps the best tease of the year creator gets some sort of virtual prize from one of the many web mistresses / princesses which frequent this great site. Maybe even the person who suggested this (Yours truly) might... nah, just kidding.

Again, just brain dumping here... eager to here anyone's elses thoughts or suggestions.

Hi and welcome to the site. And yes we already had this idea, but for no particular reason we didn't realize it. It would be a lot of work and I am not sure if this would be worth it. The problem is, there are a lot of things to do and some good things which are not so important go lose in the deep abyss of our to do list

It's a great idea - my advice is to make it happen! Pick your favorite categories, I suggest cutting it down to half a dozen to make it managable, and put up a nominations thread with your suggestions. Give a week for people to make their nominations (bump it if needed), then run polls in all the categories.

I forgot another important point. This could definately cause disagreements and disputes about the nomination process. I mean although the TOTM rules are very clear it sometimes even happens there.

If we have to wait until next year to do it, that's cool with me too. It'll give a year to get all the logistics and so forth hammered out.

I think it's a good idea as well, though I admit that it does sem like an awful lot of work.
Still worth a shot I think.
So many different style of writers around here and so many different tastes from the readers.
What appeals to one, does nothing for another.

I really like the idea of the flash tease recognition though. Writers of flash seem to be somewhat left out as there's no voting system like the regular page teases. If we don't get feedback on the forum, we have no idea whether people are enjoying what we've done or not. Maybe we could get a voting system for those similar to the regular ones?
