It's under the "File" menu, it's kind of built into the menu :-)
Also, q55x8x, it registers edging but then the domme stops giving taunts, the variable file increases but the domme doesn't say anything.

From looking at the source code it seems that on line 2253 of Form1.vb it detects the edge but doesn't set "SubEdging" to true and therefore doesn't stop the metronome or give a response..

So on line 2253 it should be:

They recognise the edge when they ask you to, I posted above the (possible) reason it doesn't normally, just need to wait for Patch 48.1

Another bug, I don't think they ever tell you to stop stroking.. the taunts stop but you just keep stroking..

If that's with Patch 48, then every response to what I type is louder than the rest, there's a volume setting in the options and it only affects the taunts, that could just need turning up..

First of all, thank you for releasing patch 48 :-)
I think i found a few bugs (using win10 if is of help):

1-if i reset a session and start a new one, i see no img at all...the domme talks but a new slideshow doesn't start

2-every time i close tease a.i. the metronome setting seems to go back to default values (i even modified the values manually in the teaseai.exe file and yet in the program itself it resets to the default values)

3-i can't get past the stroke taunt cycle....after she decided that you should stop stroking (infact she stops saying taunts), she stops there completely...she never gets to a module or tells you to stop stroking

Then, I wanted to ask you if you can tell us what these parts of the patch notes mean and how to use them

P.s: the @CallReturn() is awesome for interrupts....now you can use that one instead of @Interrupt() in response files and, after dealing with the interrupt she goes back to where she were before....that was one of the most needed feature for me (i love using interrupts depending on what i say...but it broke the immersion before this command since she went on to the links after the interrupt, thus ending modules and linear scripts and ruining the "feeling")

One more: Looks like the path for sound files (not tested with other file type) its not working.
TeaseAI says can not find file in /audio folder, and dont look inside the /audio/myfiles folder.

But q55x8x says he cant provide bugfixes, so we need to stick with 47 for now.


Anyway, to anyone who want to test this version, make a copy of your current TeaseAI folder and test the new version in THE NEW FOLDER, not the old one. There are some settings storaged in some %appdata% folder and the new version will screw that if you come back to the old version.

I was a bit surprised when, during stroking, the domme asked me if I was getting horny, and then responded to my answer, it almost ended up like a conversation. The @CallReturn really helps bring more life to the taunts/teases as you can have them being like a small module. Of course before that addition answers to the taunt questions wouldn't get a response :-)

First off, thanks for the patch 48 hopefully we can get those commands smoothed out over time. Secondly, to all who downloaded it and are now despairing over the lack of it working, patch 47 with the hotfix is still on page 1. :D

Super sad to see the 3 month mark passed and still no sign of 1885! :(
I really hope he is okay! No matter what he contributed with something new, exciting and unique and that can never be taken away from him! :)

In regards to creating a new "TeaseAI".
First of all, I suggest we make a new thread, so not to mix 1885's project with the new one!
I think a lot of the comments regarding 1 person not being able to maintain it holds a lot of truth! So I volunter for any task that isn't progamming since I dont know how.

I decided to mess around with the code and I was able to make the current Patch usable :-D

Patch Notes:

Fixed the issue of getting stuck in the taunt loop and modules not loading.



I've tested it after messing around for a while and it hasn't failed to load a module yet. I'll try to figure out how to fix the session reset with no images problem, but no guarantees on that.

I was having the problem with 47 as well. The fact that you are getting diff volume on responses maes me think the problem is with my pc/windows rather than the program, as I am only getting the ones that you get at a louder volume (specifically responses) and not the conversation/statement lines. Thanks anyway and will keep trying things to see if I can get it to work ;-)

BTW. What is the wakeup time option that has appeared with 48 in the settings?

It's used to make #GeneralTime be dependent upon when you wake up normally.

One hour before the value to four hours after is considered morning.
Five hours before to twelve hours after is considered Afternoon.
Anything else is considered night.

Or at least, it's supposed to. For me, it keeps resetting to whenever I launch the program so it effectively locks it at morning.

Wow, thx a lot man, downloading it right now....i really like the @CallReturn so much that i can deal with minor issues such as the reset not working or the metronome resetting to default speed everytime (but couldn't before since it was not loading any module) :-D

Could you include the source code in the download as well, it's just if anyone wants to make further make improvements then they can.
Just as a reminder, I created a strawpoll to decide what language the new Tease AI should be coded in, I'm wondering how long to keep it going before we say which one to use..

If you are thinking of helping with coding then please vote, I would also say rather than choosing a language because you know it, instead choose which language you think would be best for the project and the users. It's quite easy to learn another language once you know one.

I thought we should create a new thread when it gets going, I was wondering what we should call it, should it be Tease AI 2 or something completely different..

I was thinking to have a dev thread, bugs thread and a discussion thread although I'd like to have everything on pages everyone can edit, like a wiki, as if someone creates a thread here then they are then responsible for keeping it up to date, if the original thread creator has a break then you have to go back through the posts to find the latest update.. A bit like patches 48 and 48.1 will be..

Windows generally doesn't like modifying things on the C drive, to fix this you can either try running it as an admin:
right click > run as administrator

or move it onto a different drive by copying the settings file:
C:Users<Username>AppDataLocalTease_AITease_AI.exe_Url_<random string>1.0.0.0user.xml

move the application, start it, close it, then go back to the appdata folder and overwrite the settings file in the newly created "Tease_AI.exe_Url_<random string>" folder

Then to answer your question, Tease AI is currently designed to be a brand new session every time, 1885 was working on a "Total Brat" personality which would use flags and variables to keep up with the user so the AI would "remember" what happened in previous sessions.

There is a save and load feature though, which should work OK, in the apps tab at the bottom, which pauses a session at a particular point to be loaded again later.
