I hadn't thought of ESL readers, though. I guess there should be a second option for you lot. If only there was a way to include variables in a tease, like X and 2X, so you could double the timer length for some people.
I think it depends upon how much text there is to read. A sentence is easy to read in 10 seconds and have a little time left over to appreciate the photo. But when it's a paragraph or two then it takes longer.

BTW, it's a really great tease. My only criticism is;
Spoiler: show
the scissor graphics don't fit in. You need something more real. Even if all you do is throw in a photo (instead of a graphic) of a pair of scissors.

Because of the metronome, it would be a lot of work to change the lengths, but I might do it. I kind of want to release a fully updated version, as well as updated/improved versions of some of my earlier teases, as new ones. But I wonder if people will think it's blatant rating-whoring to re-release a tease that's already been published once.

I think it would be okay if a significant amount of content was added or changed to a tease. Kinda like a version 1.5 of a tease. If if it was just a couple of bugfixes and an alternate ending, I think just editing the current tease would be best.
