For me it is a fantasy. In real life I am the oposite. The attraction is letting go of the responibilities I have in real life.
I would make a rubbish full time submissive.
The idea of having a female submissive would be far more attractive in real life.
I guess if it was for a specific period of time per week I might go for it, but no full time would be my idea of a nightmare.

It would be a switch relationship, where sometimes she's dominant, other times she's my slave, and other times we are just a vanilla couple that's inlove. Thank you all! I don't think anyone is ever really 100% one way or another. I think there are aspects to us- some passive and others more aggressive. I also think that this site doesn't have a lot of submissive men. It's a still a great site.

When I am with one of my pets you might not ever be able to tell. You may notice how polite he is and that he says "Yes Ma'am". No I don't think anything is ever 100%. I know that I have no desire to submit and typical sexual scenes/vanilla turn me off, however I do enjoy having my ass smacked during fucking sometimes. I don't feel this makes me submissive.

Its more of a natural dynamic that I'm talking about. It happens between two people and you may only have that with one person. I have pets that are very aggressive and controlling in their daily life yet completely different with me. I don't believe it's ever truly possible to be either 100% one thing or another. For my part, sexually I lean towards the submissive side, but have been known to switch. I find it helps me to understand the opposite perspective, standing in their shoes.

I suppose it depends on how you describe submissive. In my job, I'm required to be assertive, as I interact with many different departments on many different levels. That said, I try to be courteous, and observant of other people, and make sure people are pleased with my performance.

No, and not because of my gender, or orientation. My voice is important as a submissive, as well as a Dominant partner. In any relationship there has to be give and take, and compromises made to accomodate both parties - a relationship based solely on one persons whims isn't a functional relationship, and IMO is doomed to failure.

My idea D/s relationship would be a relationship where my subservience pleases my partner - but one where I get something out of it too, beyond the pat answer of "pleasure of service is pleasure enough" - it's not. I have no issues with being used sexually, in fact, I get off on the idea. But, for instance, if my partner is heavily into anal sex, and for me, it's just painful, there needs to be a compromise, or accomodation made. Discussion, openness, and a willingness to compromise on each others' behalf and consider each others' feelings is an ideal relationship, whether founded on D/s or not.

I am a natural alpha female. I do agree that no one is ever 100% and it really depends on who I am interacting with. When it comes to sex I am dominant. I don't enjoy any other way. But there are many facets to my natural- the seductress in me can appear to be passive and feminine, however its part of my cat and mouse game. But I do agree that most people are not 100% any way.
