Trying to Gauge Opinions on Some Stuff

I'm in the middle of gathering content for CH-H3 and recent events have given me the impression that I will likely need to have multiple instances of the same actress in order to fulfill my desire for scene variety (solo/tease, lesbian, dp, etc.) and source video quality. I've had to do this a couple times before for isolated incidents, but this would potentially be on a wider scale. If the source clips themselves (say for instance a Tori Black DP scene and a Tori Black lesbian scene as opposed to repeating the lesbian scene), would this bother you guys? The clearest alternative at this point would be to break the content up across multiple videos, but that doesn't really change much except that the repetition will be across videos as opposed to across scenes.

Also, it had been brought up as a negative that I had used the same song as someone else from a different CH video. Whenever I've done this, I was fairly certain it was a remix, or in the case of One, I made it the intro music as opposed to a scene track. I agree that we should be striving for originality when and where we can, but sometimes a song just works. If enough people are bothered by music repetition, I'd like to find someone to help me catalog all of the instances of songs so that CH makers have a list to look at to know if the song they want to use has been used already.

Frankly, I don't mind either way, and while I'm a proponent of making stuff for yourself first, these kinds of considerations wouldn't affect me negatively (besides workload), so I want to know what the demand is like.

Use whatever you like - that is far more vital for success than listening to a couple isolated complaints :)

I voted that repeated songs do bother me.

My perspective is this - as video tease creators, we're somewhat limited in what footage we can use, especially if we're going to do HD content. But as far as music goes, there are TONS more tracks that we could use and personally, I think we should explore using all sorts of tracks rather than using the "cream of the mainstream". While I agree that if "a song works" then use it, I'm also a bit prideful that when I cut a scene, I try my hardest not to use a song that's been featured in a previous video tease cuz I don't want to be viewed as "lazy and unoriginal"; basically, I don't want any easy excuses for people to dislike my video teases. But you do bring up a very good point with the problem in trying to keep track of what songs have been used in previous CH video teases.

When it comes down to it though, what matters most is if YOU'RE happy with the final cut - if you're entertained by your own work, that's what should matter the most.

Repeats don't really bother me, mostly.

If one video was to contain a song twice, I may question the author's dedication to making a good CH video, but in the end: If it works, I'm happy with it.

I for one love most of the music i've heard in the CH vids. My only complant would be rap songs by guys tend to be a bigger turn off form me. I love the dance beat stuff sung by women. It just seems to help me get into the mood.

Repeating women across the same CH also works for me. For instance, CH Hardcore 2 has svereal segents with Katie St Ives doing Anal. I loved seeing her multiple times during that CH. I have bigger issues with low quality porn. Not the bit rate but more the amateur dancing college girls stuff and the jerk off instruction with old women stuff with and just a beat track with no music just don't do anything for me.

I love the great work everyone does with CH vids and I am almost finding it hard these days to stroke it without a beat. I have recently started selecting the scenes that I really love and editing them into my own CH video compilations.

Just my 2 cents.

i dont mind both because, there are... i guess around half a million ch scenes and only so many songs that fit...^^

Yeah. For songs, I mean using songs that were in other videos. For people, I mean using the same person in multiple rounds.

I appreciate all the feedback so far. I just want to make it clear that I never intended to let this feedback direct me to make my CH videos anything other than I want them to be. My thinking was that if enough people were bothered by either issue, it wouldn't be too difficult to accommodate those people while also making videos that I think are good.

I would say that using song from past cock hero is ok for me, but you should add original music too. A mix with at least 50% new song is ok. Hit music radio station play songs many time per weeks and it's great like that when this is a popular song. So same is applying to CH.

As for getting one personality more than one is great too, in fact it add a little bit of continuity inside de video. Cock Hero pornstar: Gracie Glam only contain one girls is this is really good.

No objection to the same girl several times in one video, if she's cute.

Only mild objections to repeat music. I wouldn't mind seeing a wider variety of genres tried, actually. But hearing the same songs in two or three different CH's ranges from a very minor problem (if I don't like the song) to something I don't object to at all (for something I like).

The biggest area where I wouldn't mind seeing a little more variety in your videos is the pacing of scene changes; you tend to cycle among about four scenes per song in a very predictable sequence. It's a pretty minor complaint, but I think you could afford to vary that up a bit. Doesn't stop your videos from being, generally, among my favorites.
