Kendoll and the 1001 subs...

Post by Alliteration »

Ok, so I don't really want to interject myself into a situation I don't belong in, but I've noticed something I'm growing a bit concerned about happening over the past week or so. What I'm referring to is Kendoll's recent tease regarding a heart pendant, and her subsequent (what seems to me, anyway) rather ridiculous amount of submissives.

Here's a link to her profile: http://www.milovana.com/forum/memberlis ... ile&u=3930

Her list of subs is thus:
Andrea Danae, She Bomb, Natalia My Pet, Kendollshottie
Vicky my VS Girl, Sissy Nikki, Gemma, savannah My Bitch
sandra, My Surfer Girl
Your name here

It seems to me that she's getting a new sub almost every day. "Your name here" especially concerns me, because it seems she still has spots open for more. What concerns me is this: do the people involved here actually realize what being a submissive means? This amount of subs just seems like complete overkill. I struggle to understand how one person can possibly have the time to devote the needed attention to so many relationships.

Now, maybe I'm wrong, and these people don't view being "owned" by Kendoll as a serious, fulltime, D/s relationship...but if so, this is even more troubling. I've seen the people on this list acting as if they *are* in a serious relationship; saying things like "I am owned", and even "I love you", to her. And this post only adds to my worries: http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic ... 15#p104163

So, it seems to me that both Kendoll, and her subs, are taking this quite seriously - as much more than just playing or doing a scene with someone, but entering into an actual relationship; a *commitment*. So then...where does she find the time to devote to all these relationships? What if, for example, sub 1 and 2 (for whatever reason) need some aftercare while she's playing with subs 3 and 4?

I just feel like eventually something bad is going to happen, and feelings are going to be hurt. There's so many people involved at this point, it seems unavoidable. So I would strongly urge everyone involved in this "game" to think seriously about whether this is going to make you happy.

She has a bunch of "hypnosis" teases that have been coming out lately, if you've been following. The way I look at it is just another spread of users following a webtease series which asks the participants to "surrender yourself completely to me" and "proclaim your love for your beautiful Mistress," and so on. They are deluded if they think they are in a serious relationship, and if they are indeed that deluded, I personally don't waste time trying to disillusion them, because I don't think it can be done.

The Jana series as created by Decker had a lot of similar things going on, with people even putting it in their signatures. Sure, they were more aware of the fact that it was Decker playing behind the characters, but many of them were just having fun suspending reality and immersing themselves in the fantasy. I don't see this much differently.

I guess. Let's see how many of them actually buy the collar (as per the post linked above).

edit for additional thoughts:

If this really is just a fantasy for the submissives...have they informed Kendoll of this fact? What if she is taking it seriously? Furthermore, if it is a fantasy, I would encourage them to bring it into reality and experiment with actual submission (safely, of course). It's far more fulfilling.

I think you will find the "Novelty " will wear off and the thrill seekers will move on.

Some will certainly stay with her and some will then leave because of incompatibility.

In truth there are very few long term relationships.
I do know though of several very successful ones.

If any do develop I wish them all the bestest I can.

Exactly; this is what I'm worried about. Feelings may be hurt if this happens. I just wish people were more cautious/selective with this sort of thing.

The thrill seekers will not be hurt.
the ones that move on through incompatibility are usually subbies that try to top from the bottom
and are "Used to being rejected/ignored".
I have seen my fair share of those too.

I do hope that your worries are groundless.
however you raising it should alleviate problems in the near future.

I expect kendoll will reduce her requests when she is happy with her stable.
though I hope she keeps the teases going for her flock.

What about Kendoll, and the subs that stick around? What about people new to the lifestyle who may be watching these events, and start thinking that "coming and going" is ok?

Hopefully she will see this topic later on, and post here. And hopefully my worries are indeed groundless.

I have over the years seen huge followings.
Perhaps none more than Little Miss Jay.

I don't know if this site actually cares about copyrights or not, but the image of the "heart pendant" is being used illegally. The watermark for Dreamstime.com indicates that licensing rights haven't been paid for. Furthermore, stock images from Dreamstime.com (and most stock image sites) can't be used for pornographic purposes, even if purchased.
Without limitation, Images may not be used as a trademark or service mark (unless the appropriate extended license is being used), for any pornographic or unlawful purpose, to defame a person, to violate a person's right to privacy or publicity, to infringe upon any copyright, trade name, trademark, or service mark of any person/entity. Unauthorized use of these Images constitutes copyright infringement and shall entitle Dreamstime to exercise all rights and remedies under applicable copyright law, including an injunction preventing further use and monetary damages against all users and beneficiaries of the use of such Images. The foregoing is not a limiting statement of Dreamstime's rights or remedies in connection with any unauthorized use.
I could personally care less, but Milovana should be aware that stock photography companies actively pursue infringements.

Choice,
Unless the image is being used commercially and that can be tracked to show how much money is actually made from the use of the image no stock company will follow up on a willful infringement suit. It simply isn't worth the time. As a graphic designer and a photographer I am pretty familiar with this fine line. Also, the burden of proof (unfortunately) is with the wronged party so the stock company would have to do the leg work to show there has been an infringement. Although thanks to the DMCA the stock company as a broker for an artist may not care at all in which case it is up to the artist to act and provide relevant documentation and proof that the use of the image is in fact making money for someone somewhere other than the people who produced/sold it. Milovana as a site hosting a non-commercial product would not be actionable.

I am very pleased to see serious discussion.
Where to start?
The pendant images are the largest <free> size, for 25 cents I could buy the large size.
The images of Me, are of course public domain, if you can not guess who, then you are
America's Biggest Loser. ;-)
Mistress Laughs

About my relationships, I am very serious.
Some of my girls have been with me for a long time.
Ask them if Mistress Kendoll loves them.
As to the number, 1001 subs. That is really funny.
Makes me sound like Don Giovanni

That's good. But, how do you find time for so many, plus work/sleep/etc? And are all your subs just as serious?

edit: and, I just noticed you added more. You're not taking as a sub everyone who wants it, are you?
