I like figuring things out so I dont mind losing a few times.
I will want to save when I can but I did not progress that far.
About how often can we save? after every quest, about once an hour or once in multiple hours?

I was playing a mage on normal, but by clicking default options I think I did not set offensive stance (not sure, ill keep it in mind next time). I went with ice spell, overcharge and without potions. Next time ill buy potions first instead of a 2% ring.
Overcharge sounds like itll be good once it doesnt take up a whole turn, but on level 1 (with my AP management) it was very underwhelming. 1 of the 3 turns passed just by activating it. 3x 100% attack > activation + 2x 120% attack.
Ill stick to mage, ice spells and try the shield ability next run, definietly with potions!

The specific part I found too abrupt was an enemy appearing when moving a tile. The signal started (I think full strenght) before even the text and image loaded. It can happen any time we travel.
I understand there can be roleplay reasons for being ambushed but thats still a negative for me. Plus lets not forget this high pleasure signal is just their aura so to speak, something we enter gradually as we approach from a roleplay standpoint. So for me it would be both convenient and made sense to tune it in gradually over seconds. I assure you Im tense enough already when traveling. :-D
Other places I cant complain, Like when a skillcheck fails I have a bit of time to anticipate a pain signal, same with combat.

How many total zones, quests and girls we are at if i may ask?

Oh I understand. Yeah, when fighting a Psyon, the intensity increases, usually to the highest pleasure signal. A slow increase may be a good idea in future updates. For now, just lower the high pleasure a bit. Also in settings when you start a new game you can select 'easy' under 'estim combat intensity' (not to be confused with combat estim difficulty) so that you can keep the stim higher for sexy encounters but lower when you encounter a psyon.

With the cheat system you can save as many times as you want. It uses a text based saved system to overcome the very limited data storage of Eos. If you are playing by the rules, which it sounds like you are, saving the game requires a time crystal. Mya will give you at least one time crystal, but more if she likes you. Time crystals can also be found as random loot and you can buy them from a woman in the Temple of the Gear. Additionally, you can save without the use of a crystal if you are in the time warping Temple of the Gear.

Invest in willpower upon your first level up as a mage and buy a bow for ranged damage. Most spells are medium range, so use those when you can. Fire spells are better in the graveyard. The mage should keep an offensive stance in most situations. Once set, it will try to maintain that for as long as possible, but it depends on your skills.

There are dozens of NPC women about town. The journal allows you to take notes on them. Their disposition and dominance is important to keep track of. High and low values can have interesting results, but it takes a while to alter them with your actions, dialog, quests and gifts and so on. If you get one girl really high dominance and another really low and they are friends, you can unlock lezdom scenes. Many encounters are random and have prerequisites to trigger. Perhaps over a hundred sexy encounters in the brothel bathhouse, the tavern, residential area, and palace dungeon. Dozens of quests. Current zones are graveyard (including underground crypts and the Overworld and Underworld, the Cathedral north of the graveyard, the tunnels under the town well, and the forest north of town. Next update will include the water temple in the northern forest which will be a level 9 zone.

P.S. I should also mention that what strategies you take during combat should also depend on whether or not you have a companion fighting with you and which companion you choose. A mage with overcharge ability should go with Darkness to serve as a tank. A mage with magic shield could use Aqua or Megumin, depending on your play style. Aqua is very useful for rogues as she can slow enemies down and allow you to keep your distance for ranged attacks more effectively. A warrior should go with Megumin in most circumstances to help deal some damage.

V0.15.0 progress report:

Hi everyone. As I mentioned, the next few months are going to be extremely busy for me due to my work schedule, so the next major game update is still months away, but I wanted to provide some information about what it will entail. (A tease if you will, hahaha.) The major new content will be a new zone (the water temple in the north eastern forest) and the inquisition system. I haven't done much work on the inquisition system yet, but the new zone is under construction.

The water temple is a handcrafted zone, a bit like the cathedral north of the graveyard, but larger and with more puzzles and secret chambers and the like. The game consists of a mix of procedurally generated zones and handcrafted zones. This was a very deliberate design choice to try to get the best of both worlds. The main quest will continue in the temple as the essence of water is located there, guarded by a 3 star boss. There will also be some side quest content in the new zone, but I'm still working on writing those.

The temple is a level 9 zone and will feature 5 new enemy Psyons. These include 3 normal enemies, a one star elite, and a 3 star boss. The monsters are water-themed and so are their psyonic images (bubble baths, lesbian shower scenes, and water sports in the case of the boss). The new zone will of course also include new higher level loot including valuable items, enchanted items, spells, weapons, and gear.

The temple poses a significant challenge with respect to finding suitable artwork. After months of painstaking searching, I still came up short, especially given some puzzles that require altered images and the like of such a specific theme. I decided that AI has finally gotten good enough to be considered. I'm very picky about the art in the game, so thus far, there is very little AI content. Well under 1%. Wanting to avoid AI slop, I've spent hundreds of dollars building AI agents that spit out hundreds of images that both they and I can shift through, to find a few here and there that I consider high enough quality for the game. Far fewer than 5% make the cut, but there were some that met my standards. This does open up more creative content ideas as an added benefit. I also pass the images through many filters and the like to adjust the colors. It's a lot of work. I will probably wait for Nanobanana 2 (may release under a different name) before I settle on the final artwork, as this is poised to be a significant advancement in AI image generation. I do a lot of work with AI, so I follow the field closely.

I decided it was also time to give the estim aspect of the game some attention. During the month of August, when I had time dedicated to game dev, but was unable to work on most elements of the game due to uploads being broken on Milovana during that time, I spent a good chunk of that creating new audio estim files. I give each file a lot of attention, including extensive testing and calibration to provide consistency across both pleasure and pain signals. The next update will come with 9 new pain files (used for damage and punishments), 10 new general pleasure files (used for psyon encounters), 12 new themed pleasure files (used for sex scenes and specific sex acts like footjobs and the like), and 3 long files in the 5 to 12 minute range for use as background psyonic energy in new zones and boss encounters. The boss will have a minion that first tries to defeat you via orgasm before the fighting starts. These files are more than I'll need for the new zone, so some will be retroactively inserted into previous content in areas that had previously used the same stim for multiple purposes.

I'm still designing the inquisition. The sin system is already in place, but there is no consequence yet. With the next update, once your sin gets over a certain value, the inquisition has a chance to track you down when you are in town and drag you off to the church dungeons. They will use some of the most painful estim in the game to cleanse you of those sins. You can repent via tribute to the statue of Milovana before your sin gets too high if you opt to avoid this fate, however I know that many of you are looking forward to it. :w00t:

Apparently, it will be worth the wait.
I have a question regarding the bosses.
Could you provide a spoiler to remind us how many three stars bosses there are up to now in 0.14.3?
Obviously, the one guarding the entrance of the cathedral is a main one and it took me a while to come back to defeat it. Plus, the one at the far west of the same cathedral (Or is the death queen something different that a boss?)
But I am not sure about the others, which I probably encountered already since I have done the maze under the well (I must have defeated it) and the forest, but as they are unique one-time encounters, we cannot go back to verify.
So could you clarify?
Also, could you clarify what is a mini boss?

@ Jackall: For clarity, the monster pics were found online, but the interior water temple pics were AI generated. Nanobana Pro looks to be next level, so I may be redoing a lot of my August picture generation work. It is so much better at following complex prompts precisely. The inquisition will be a punishment based experience. You gain sin whenever you see nudity, but significantly more when you try to dominate the NPCs. I may have to tweak and balance how quickly sin rises. Gold tributes to Milovana remove your sin.

@ m_dominic_m: There are 3 bosses in the game currently. Mini bosses are two star elites. These include the skeletal general outside of the cathedral and the skaven commander in the well tunnels. The only 3 star boss right now is the death queen in the cathedral. The new water temple will have a new 3 star boss. All 2 and 3 star bosses are one time battles and feature unique dialog and the like as well as special scenes if you have a companion with you. Regular elites are one star and not unique encounters. They are just tougher than usual enemies. Bosses also have special loot tables with a chance to drop powerful unique items. But it's random.

Google's new AI image generator (Nanobanana Pro) is indeed shaping up to be a potential game changer for this project moving forward, especially when I need very specific artwork and slight variations for pics that represent puzzle states and the like. I'm very excited about this. Its ability to make subtle changes to images and its spatial reasoning are unmatched. It also allows for specific image resolution and aspect ratios, which is nice. I can describe some scenes with a few paragraphs of text and it usually gets all of the details correct. I think I'll use it to redo all of the images for the water temple, as it's that much better. I'll also slowly replace a few images in older regions of the game where the artwork wasn't quite right. I got the Gemini Ultra package so that I can make nearly unlimited images and without the annoying watermark. See below for some new water temple artwork. Also see below for two reimagined locations in the forest. I had it remake Mud's forest shrine to look like a stone figure of the demigoddess using two reference images. My work schedule should be returning to normal in February, which will allow me to get back to game dev in earnest. Until then, I'm just working on it a little here and there. Let me know what you think of the artwork.

I think it is my first time making a post on this forum. I registered a long time ago when cock hero island started. I have enjoyed a lot this type of teases. Would it be possible to get access to this project? DO i need an estim device or can I play without one ( I don't have one ) . Thanks!

@fatherkius: I'll send you a game link. Plenty of people play without estim. The game has some instructions for "manual" play. You do miss out on some unique interactivity though, as sex scenes deliver pleasurable estim and femdom NPC punishments and combat damage causes painful estim. Just wandering around delivers a light, teasing estim due to the "psyonic energy" of the invaders that permeates the land.

I am looking forward for the new graphics, that look more captivating and mesmerizing.
I have a question regarding relationships.
I understand that it takes time to build but so far, I did not get any luck despite my many attempts (Myself, I am mage level 13 and focusing on Kendall….)
I wonder if this function is available.
And if so, could you provide some hints regarding the level required, or reliance on gifts, or specific class vs character or else?
Also, in term of “interesting” gifts, do you have recommendation on how to best obtain them.

I also have a question regarding the follow-up from the lezdom book found in the cathedral that I gave Kendall for her Human Resources quest (After reading it myself of course, which was quite a ride!). But is there something to be expected from it after that?
