GuideMe (TeaseMe v2.0) - Current Build 0.4.4

This post is a followup to a recent post by FCK88 regarding random crashes in GuideMe.

Some time back it was discovered that newer versions of VLC player were causing GuideMe to crash when playing teases that used audio files. The issue came up and was discussed in this thread.

It turned out that version 3.0.18 (Vetinari) worked fine, but newer versions were causing random crashes in GuideMe that used audio. Downgrading VLC player to 3.0.18 resolved the problem.

So, if you are experiencing random crashes in GuideMe, try that and see what happens.

Is there some thread with a list of GuideMe downloadable teases? The links from page 1 of this thread are long since dead. I remember having played quite a few of them long ago, like the Heart's Club for instance but the download links for those also seem dead.

You can use PlayfulGuy's downloader to download any tease you like, and play it offline with TeaseMe.

It's quite easy to use - there are a few settings you can change, but otherwise just enter the Tease ID number and press go.

Is there some thread with a list of GuideMe downloadable teases? The links from page 1 of this thread are long since dead. I remember having played quite a few of them long ago, like the Heart's Club for instance but the download links for those also seem dead.

Also, the second post of the downloader thread has some teases that I've downloaded and posted. Several I made improvements to. There is also this thread https://milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14920 which has a bunch of teases that were downloaded for TeaseMe, and they should all work in GuideMe as well. Though many of those links could be dead as well.

If you try downloading something with the downloader and it doesn't work after downloading, post in the downloader thread (give me the tease ID number and name) and I'll help out. I've not been on Milovana as much recently, but still pop in fairly regularly.

Would you happen to have any of the TeaseMe/GuideMe only releases from long ago? I believe these were teases that never really made it to Milovana and were always standalone teases only for TeaseMe/GuideMe.

As an example, most of the teases in the CONTENT post (2nd one) from the start of this forum thread.

Notable examples would be - Hearts Club or Gotta Edge Em All. None of the download links in the forum thread are working - understandable since they have been there since ages ago.
