Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
Has anyone successfully installed this on a Macintosh computer? I am trying to use Wine/WineBottler, but I don't know which resources are required beyond .NET 4 and Runtime. Surely this is possible...

Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
GuideMe was initially started to address this. It is designed to be cross platform. I don't have the ability to test on mac and have not had anyone offer to help get it working on mac.elvisomar wrote:Has anyone successfully installed this on a Macintosh computer? I would be happy to work with you to get it working.

Thanks Philo, I posted over in the GuideMe thread.philo wrote:GuideMe was initially started to address this. It is designed to be cross platform. Having done that, I know that Intel Macs can run PC software, if they have all the proper tools installed. There is a freeware software (Winebottler) that packages the .EXE file, with the necessary tools into a package that allows the UNIX core of Mac OSX to run it. I know how to make these Wineskins (and that is how I play Skyrim on my Mac, btw), but I need to know specifically which extra tools from a long list of potentials should be installed. I could just opt to install them all, but I suspect that will bloat the memory and slow performance—assuming there aren't any conflicting tool in the list.
Once I figure it out, I will be more than happy to make my successful Wineskin version available to other Mac users.

Requirements
---------------
You'll need a Microsoft Windows Environment with Microsoft .NET 4 Framework to run the program. Be aware that TeaseMe uses Windows Media Player for video and audio, so don't deactivate it on your system. If you still have troubles playing videos in TeaseMe try install K-Lite Codec Pack or something similar to make sure you have all possible needed codecs .
those are the only ones I am aware of

Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
Sorry for being under a rock for so long. I'll have a look at it and see if I can fix this... (no promises)Nezhul wrote:I wonder, if it's still possible to fix an annoying bug of the tease downloader? Currently, for any page which ID starts with "e" it will make an error that there's no page ID. this likely happens because nyx marks rows in vert() target as e0, e1, e2, and so on, and the parser will see "e" as a vert() action and not as a page name.
You can see this error a lot in

Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
Hi,
I'm trying to download this flash tease:
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showt ... p?id=24846
to teaseMe as an offline webtease but I'm getting an error saying "Unexpected HTML-format of the page at Milovana"
Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?
Thanks

Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
The address has an error.
Change showtease to showflash, keep everything else as-is and it will work just fine.

Yes, I most certainly CAN do it again!

Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
Are you talking about the "TeaseMe-v0.1.4.rar" file?TOKON1 wrote:TeaseMe for dummies....PLEASE

You just need to extract the content of this file in any folder (you can use the 7-zip app), and run the "TeaseMe.exe" file after that.
PS: You'll need Microsoft .NET Framework 4 to run the program.
Download it here: http://www.microsoft.com
Re: Offline Teases (TeaseMe)
I made a workaround for the bug causing page IDs starting with 'e' not working correctly.
This is my own build of TeaseMe so there are also some interface changes that I made for myself.
I never intended to release this build, but since there's now a bug fix in there I might as well.
It's a pretty ugly fix that just prefixes the bad page IDs with a 'ZDevFix'.
So 'epage1#' becomes 'ZDevFixepage1#'.
I may have introduced new bugs by doing this so please let me know if you find anything
Update
I've updated the ID fix to also suffix IDs ending with 'e'
So 'page1e#' becomes 'page1eZDevFix#'.
Interface Preview
Build 7
'1': Set image sizing to 'Zoom'
'2': Set image sizing to 'CenterImage'
'ESC': Exit fullscreen mode
'D': Open the debug menu
'Ctrl+Shift+D': Open the debug menu

Interface Preview
Build 7
- Added clean up process for ZDevFix tags, leaving the final xml with intact page IDs. No more ZDevFix clutter!
- Fixed a bug where the id fixer would crash when no page ID could be found.
- Tweaked the process that cleans up pages spanning multiple lines, making it slightly better (it's still pretty bad though).
- Fixed the downloader to work with https://milovana.com
- Tweaked the sorting to always sort the "start" page to the top in the debug menu
- Added shortcut 'D' to open the debug menu
- Added fix for IDs containing 'max'.
- The main window won't steal focus from the debug menu anymore.
- Tweaked some progress messages to be less noisy.
- Changed TeaseMe platform target from 'x86' to 'Any CPU'
- Fix a bug where invalid XML characters in the tease text would crash the saving process.
- Authors name is now included in the default filename.
- Changed the alphanumeric sort algorithm to a much faster nautral sort.
- Fixed a bug in the ID fixer where it would crash if it accidentally picked up a hex-value.
- Temporary fix for the page IDs ending with 'e' not working.
- Enabled context menu in the browser (You can now copy text from the text area).
- Changed UI labels and repositioned elements for better alignment.
- Changed UI Base color from black to a very dark gray.
- Added alphanumeric sorting for page IDs in the debug menu.
- Added shortcuts to change image sizing behavior (see shortcut list).
- Temporary fix for the page IDs starting with 'e' not working.
