What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
Or if this is easier to answer, you can also go for "What denial period do you go for on average?"
So I am thinking about creating a tease - well it might happen or not, depending on how my luck on finding the right pictures goes, and if it turns out to be interesting. We'll see.
I don't want to assume that everybody has the same kind of body control (or lack of it) as I do. I have already read some crazy numbers around here. I am looking for this one day, where edging gets just a little bit harder. You might think to yourself for a part of a second, why shouldn't I? Maybe that girl (or scene) onscreen isn't even your taste really, but you could so easily give in to that rush of adrenaline ...
Of course some have the "help" of a Mistress or Master, which makes it easier to answer NO to that question, but I guess the question might still pop up.
Stroking, edging, denial and all that stuff is a personal experience and so much different for every person. I know there is no number that fits everyone, but maybe I can find a number of days that everybody can empathize with.

Re: What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
I picked one week as an achievement, but I have gone as long as a year in denial. It was difficult and took a good bit of willpower, but I also had a strong conviction to keep up with it. If I tried to start a denial period like that tomorrow, I would fail in no time, mostly because I don't really want to go for that long again. Hope that helps!

A decently long denial period for me would be about a week. I would be proud of myself if I managed to reach two weeks (that's currently my goal), so I chose that in the poll

That helps a lot. In this forum you see a lot of 'crazy' numbers, but there is a huge difference between what you could do on a moments notice (like 'starting from today...') and what you achieved once. Not to bash on that, things like that are important to each and everyone of us.Fledrin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 1:53 am I picked one week as an achievement, but I have gone as long as a year in denial. Apart from the original question, if I may ask, was there a reason to do it? Was there 'help'? I don't think I could ever go for a year, plus there is no reason to do it really. But I'm always in for a good story!

It get's easier when you focus on not pushing yourself, but rather relaxing. This goes for the denial itself as well as for stroking/edging in that period. You need to get sex out of your head from time to time, otherwise you go crazy. I am aware you didn't ask for advice, but ... well ... that's the internetforbiddendesire wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 3:07 am A decently long denial period for me would be about a week. Oh no please, any advice is welcome, since I really want to extend my denial periods. Any advice that helps me achieve that goal is good in my bookonlytropics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 1:19 am

I'll try doing this. You're correct in that I try to focus too much. And of course, when I go out of control horny sex is literally constantly on my mind, which is the biggest reason for my failure. Thanks!

In that case, there is one thing that helped me a lot. From time to time, focus on breathing. Some CH videos actually encourage that too. So if you feel a bit fuzzy after a lot of stroking or edging, you should try to focus on breathing deeply in and out once, slowly. That takes about 3-4 seconds, so it can easily be done in any CH short break, or just before clicking 'continue' in a tease. It will relax you instantly and allow to go a lot further. Very simple, very effective.forbiddendesire wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 4:18 pm Oh no please, any advice is welcome, since I really want to extend my denial periods. Re: What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
I've been trying to tell myself to relax and take it easy, and go slow for the last couple of days, and I think it's good advice. It's helped me hold on without getting too excited and exploding, I think I'll continue it. Now each time I find myself getting too excited, I just think "Just relax, you'll go crazy if you're always thinking about sex."onlytropics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 11:43 pm

I'm going to try this technique you mentioned. Thanks!

Re: What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
if you mean denial like, being edged and denied... thats something crazy and i wouldnt last long... maybe to another day, but hell of the aching... id surely went nuts
if you meant no-stimulation period.. a week of constant distractions could be fine to survive. but being home on holidays or days off, its hard not to think about it

Re: What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
One thing to keep in mind is that how long a person can go, or is willing to go without an orgasm will vary greatly, and will also vary with age. At my age (I turn 60 this year) longer periods are routine. When I was younger I couldn't do the lengths of time I do now.
I now go 2 to 4 weeks on a regular basis. I've managed 30 or more days 15 times in the past 4 years (when I started keeping track), and my record is 61 days. I rarely make it much past 30 days.
I picked 50 days as being an achievement for me, since 60 was a real stretch and I don't have any great desire to do it again, but I have done 40 more than once too.

Re: What denial period would you call an achievement for yourself?
Valid questions! I did it because I wanted to be sure I could do it. In other words, it was a self-imposed test of my own willpower. The rules were that I wasn't allowed to orgasm. I could watch porn, but that usually didn't help me. I didn't masturbate, other than 2 or 3 moments of weakness. I was also single during that year, so it was a complete denial period. As as side note, that first time orgasm after the year ended was heavenly. One of the best things I've ever felt.onlytropics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 1:03 amApart from the original question, if I may ask, was there a reason to do it? Was there 'help'?
