Yes Please!
:please:

I wish I had the talent to create estim web teases, but I don't. I just have hope that those who do will create ones like referenced above.

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

what kind of electrodes do you recommend? Depends on placement. As to material I prefer Aluminum, cooper, stainless steel. No chrome or nickel. Lately, I find a stainless-steel urethra sound to be a great electrode, but many do not want to try that. I find a bronze grounding clamp to be excellent f...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

they are rubber. i know voltage at the very least passes through them, but pressing them onto my leg and fiddling with the sound and calibration, i didnt feel anything They are high resistance and as such I almost never use them. It takes a lot more power to feel a sensation through them. Neverthel...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

if there is indeed a good enough current going through it, why cant i feel it on my leg for instance? I'm not recommending you do this, but it is what I do. With both electrodes (are they metal or conductive rubber?) on the same leg and with a conductive gel (salt water can work too) see if you can...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

i managed to complete my box but im having trouble getting it to work properly. idk if its because of user error or a wrong setup tbh. ive tested it with the multimeter (mostly using continuity to see if the electrodes are indeed working properly) and ive noticed that either my multimeter cant prop...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

Thanks for all the help from the pioneers here. I just completed my new setup. I have been breadboarding it but just finished soldering everything in my aux. box. I choose to go with a completed Bluetooth amp and build a box for the contacts, transformers, and current limiting resistors. It's nice t...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors (Pictures and info on footpedal for self bondage)

Just finished the auxiliary box which has the two transformers and current resistors. The box has for banana plugs for input and four for output. By combining the two common output I get a tri electrode setup otherwise it is two electrically isolated stereo channels. Since the power resistors are ov...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

It works! Just hooked one channel together. Used blue tooth to feed in the audio from one of the estims here. I had the 4 ohm power resistor in series on the line from the amp to the transformer. I used the 4 ohm tap on the transformer. On the output I used the common and yellow which on my set of ...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

From the amplifier each channel positive goes to a 5.6 ohm 10W resister which then feeds to the 8 ohm lead of a 70V transformer. Each channel negative goes directly to the common on the same side of the transformer. I use the 1W lead for the electrode positive lead and the common lead for negative....

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

Has anyone tried to break open a wall wart and use the transformer from those? Recent PS are switching not transformer based. If you have a transformer based (usually heavier) it is likely well encased, may be potted so breaking open will likely end up breaking leads or damaging the windings. I gue...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

Thanks again.
I've ordered the amp. a pair of transformers and the 4 ohm resistor. I'll let everyone know how it works when I get it setup and tested.

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

I can get a pair rated at 100 watts for about $6US. The amp's power is halved when driving 8 Ohm load compared to 4 Ohm load. So serial resistor reduces max power that can go through transformers, gives you better range for volume control pot on amp (since you can dial it up more), while you can st...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

And I also use serial resistors (4 Ohm, + 4 Ohm transformer leads, so practically only half power goes to transformer, other half is converted to heat in resistor), and still I only get up to about 50% of volume on amp, maybe 65 for some large internal electrodes. I have never understood why these ...

Re: DIY Stereo Stim with amp, transformers and maybe resistors

You'd probably have better results with 24V since you will be able to use larger portion of volume pot (not to the max for sure but maybe 40%). Thanks for the reply. I think I might have a 24vdc power supply. I believe it comes with the 36vdc supply. And if I don't fry the amp and if it doesn't wor...
