Re: New estim tracks for CH videos

I think you're describing what FileFlax calls Tremolo. He interpolates the volume between 1 and (1-tremolo) based on the stroke position.... I'm sure this can be improved by adding more calibration parameters, but your degrees of freedom will still be limited to a single line in the unit circle. Yo...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos

If this isn't three phase, then brushless motor control is not three phase either. Strangely, I've never heard anyone argue that motor control isn't "real" three phase. The potential at the electrodes (with my software) when rotating around the unit circle is exactly the same as for a brus...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos

I spent 'a bit' of time thinking about three-phase estim generation... One thing I noticed is that there are three phases. If we assume frequency is constant, we have three degrees of freedom. How does this work? I propose this notation: https://i.imgur.com/MlJAgYB.png The circle is the unit circle,...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos

I tested contract yesterday, it was great. Passion was harder for me to enjoy, not sure why, will try again later. Vulcan was different, I feel a bit of pain in the balls at the bottom of each stroke. This file has long stretches of incomplete strokes, I guess it takes time for the nerves to acclima...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

You should be able to measure a small voltage between gnd and l/r on the input side at max volume, probably between 0.5 and 1 volts AC, depends on how powerful your sound card is. On the output side, the range at max volume is between 6 and 12 v rms, you can measure this even when nothing is attache...

Full album here: https://imgur.com/a/eyqi4Jq Wow - that is very well done. Mine looks like a box of spaghetti! Do you have any additional photos of the circuit board that you built? Bottom photos and component parts (including the basic connectors) would be very helpful! Thanks! BH  I ha...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

About wire gauge, the only thing that makes thin wires dangerous is that melt faster. Thinner wires have more resistance, which equals more heat. How much heat is too much? Suppose that our input voltage is 12V and our power resistor is 4 ohm. If the amplifier outputs a square wave with the maximum ...

Re: Help with Parralell resistors on DIY SteroStim box

I believe this is the correct wiring. You should be able to measure the resistance between the red wires changing from 0 to 10k when you turn the pot.

If you mirror the pot connections, it should still work but the operation is also reversed (volume increases when pot is turned counter-clockwise).

I performed some calculations, assuming 40w max output power. https://i.imgur.com/D9chgwM.png linear: normal 10k pot. antilog: 10k pot + 10k loading resistor between + and wiper, as in MEGA schematic. log: 10k pot + 1k loading resistor between - and wiper, as recommended for audio applications to ap...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

I'm intending to build a stim box, but I have questions. After researching I landed on this schematic: https://i.imgur.com/m8AMUS4.png D1: TVS 1.5kE15CA cap: bipolar 330uf (according to mantrid, this results in a cutoff of around 110 Hz) Resistors: I think the worst-case power on R22 is 4.5W (very u...
