Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software

I’m having trouble with the funscript conversion tool. I’ve tried to convert 3 different funscripts and each time I only end up with a partial conversion

The initial few minutes are just outstanding. And then it seems to hang in one position (if that makes sense) for the rest of the track. There’s ...

Re: FOC-Stim: a new approach to DIY stim hardware.

I've got my device built up and working. Seems great so far. Thanks very much diglet et al for this.

I am however getting signal lost disconnections from time to time. I think I did the firmware update via STMcube Programmer. Firmware is showing as V2J45M31. is this the correct version?

In STMCube ...

Re: FOC-Stim: a new approach to DIY stim hardware.

Ah. That will explain that then. Sometimes my brain is too literal. I’ve been trying to install VScode on the discovery board using STM32cube programmer. 🤣🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the tip. I hope I’ll be ok from here. We’ll see.

Cheers

Re: FOC-Stim: a new approach to DIY stim hardware.

However.

I'm totally lost on what to do now. I thought I might be able to figure it out intuitively but I'm sorry I'll need some more ELI5 instructions if anyone can provide them? The software STM32Cube programmer looks nothing like the screen shot on diglet's github.

Many thanks

Re: FOC-Stim: a new approach to DIY stim hardware.

I was just about to say that I'm having the same issue as DPL. Then saw your post above about the cables.

Tried a different cable (came with a UEBoom I think) and the board connected immediately. So hopefully a new cable is all that's required for you DPL.

Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software

Thanks diglet. It sounds like a bot of a faff. Hopefully I'll get my FOC device built soon.

Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software

I've mainly been using my DIY box with audio tracks but after seeing the thread about the FOC circuit I thought I'd give restim another go.

I tried restim about 6 months ago. I guess I really didn't have any luck straight off the bat, so parked it as an idea. However the FOC thread changed my mind ...
