I didn't get into this version right away, but I've run through it enough now to have a good sense of the new content.

how do you get to the castle? I defeated the bosses at the grove, the forrest, the deep forest, and the swamp. everytime i try to approach the cabin in the dark woods i get hit back. I did it before the 15 days were up too

I've found a bug with for all of the non-boss Forest enemies, except Lucy. It only occurs with 1-shot kills and affects Loot and return to base. Ownership of the Recipes for the Lich's Grasp and Thirsty Dragon are not reset between Normal Mode Games. As soon as you get them once, you can Forge them both from Day 1 in all future Games.

Alternatively, the Hero should have a variety of attacks. Adding heavy and light attacks feels like a good first step. I honestly have no clue how to beat this game, I collect the torn maps from the first 3 areas, but then I cannot seem to find someone to beat more any more map pieces on like day 6, no matter which area I go to. Question: According to the Codex, you have both Alice and Mia scheduled for 18:00 and 19:00 higher availability. Was that intentional or an oversight? The Swamp does not appear to have anyone in the 20:00 to 21:00 slot, though, so maybe it's just a Codex typo?

Quick bugs:
2) Re-starting, used points to buy 120 gold. Bought the rest of what I wanted, then spent the last points on 39 gold. Day 1, went to the shop right away with the intention of buying all the maps early and my gold was set to 12,039 gold rather than 159.
Math is missing at some point ...
