the ground ginger must still retain 'some' oils because there is definitely a slight burning sensation. it isn't overwhelming but it isn't easy to ignore.
I could just buy a ginger root but I figured pre-ground up ginger would be easier to mix into an ice tray. I think I'll try and it out and tell everyone how it goes.
After reading through one tease it mentions using ginger root in ice cubes. Has anyone tried using ground ginger used for spice in this sort of way? Of course the ice cubes can go all sorts of places
