Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

As I wrote earlier , protection against dangerous potentials is ensured by the transformer. Consider electrode placement, tho. What about nipple clamps and chest pads? You still see them in every darn shop. Those will be output circuit protected against faulty currents regarding earth. But we both ...

Re: [DEMO/FEEDBACK] Open EOS Player (Expanding EOS via 3rd party player)

Off the top of my head I would think that we dont need a special audio file format that supports surround sound, but that stereo will suffice (so mp3 etc.). So it will be the easiest (and would also support all excisting files!) to take mp3 as the standard. Coming from mp3 I would love a feature/fun...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

statements like cheap caps go boom is somewhat misleading because a popped capacitor can happen in any device with capacitors and the result is they basically stop performing their function, one down isn't going to be a major concern apart from the noise made when it happens. This is just false. If...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

Sorry, I cannot recommend any normal audio amp for estim. There is inherent danger in shorting out - you being in the middle, touching another case of a device etc. - and thus creating a short with mains. (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaELqAo4kkQ ) I will only ever recommend an estim device ...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device

On the left side of the diagram, am I right in thinking they are individual channel inputs, rather than something like a 3.5mm stereo have? Likewise, on the right side, are they individual outputs? I think that's the bit that confuses me the most. Yes, they are, but they could easy be replaced with...

Re: [DEMO/FEEDBACK] Open EOS Player (Expanding EOS via 3rd party player)

Good idea, good work, thanks! If you want the estim community on board and beyond: play sound files on specific channels (can be limited to ch1/2 front and ch3/4 back). Allows to play voices/stories like from soundgasm while at the same time stereo outputting a stim signal. The immersion is f...

Re: StereoStim DIY Guide

The data modulation is just an example because it looks like you are not capable of imagining that a modulated wave can be offset unless the design engineer doesnt want it to happen and fixes it. I stated where and when it always happens with simple examples and why coupling capacitors are used. Wik...

Re: StereoStim DIY Guide

You have no clue what you are talking about. To everyone else with a functioning brain: a dc offset (also bias) is usually present in circuits if you dont take care of them! This wont be a problem if you send your signal thru the air, you are just lowering your efficiency and signal integrity. Howev...

Re: StereoStim DIY Guide

No, I still am not. You do not need pulse modulation for an estim device to work and deliver pleasure. I think this is the worst way to build a stim device using a digital modulation! And still, even with any modulation if your carrier has a DC offset you still have the same problem. These low frequ...

Re: StereoStim DIY Guide

No, I do not. AC . Period. Nothing to do with modulation or carriers. However, you might be right that the range might be 2Hz-160Hz and not including DC. (e.g.> https://www.tensunits.com/product/TU7000.html ) Still low frequencies and your statements are still false. With DC we do not talk about fre...

Re: [Release] E-StimControlApp

Please add cyclic fade-in and fade-out. This way people can use estim files that are not optimal and have the signal come in and out. Best would be an option like: 5-10 different cycles, so you are not bound to one frequency, but can actually adjust gain in each seqment. Also save function. This wou...

Re: StereoStim DIY Guide

Loose wires are not ok, not inside walls nor inside machines. Low signals are no problem as long as you keep the power rating on par with the area and volume. TENs units are used and sold in the millions and only range from 0-160Hz, EMS units go higher, both used in medical applications - and there ...

Thank you very much for this. I have taken yours, translated it into german and rewritten your "original score" multiple times to fit different ... mh aspects  . Great stuff, no excuse not to design a multi stage amplifier  . Love it. Thanks a lot, saved me a lot of time. I w...
