I would concur here, SoF does well without a beat meter - one's attention can be fully directed to the bountiful Host (esses... Terrible joke).

The soundtrack has very clear beats that work nicely without additional 'woodblock sounds'; and the chants, well, certainly give you a feeling of freedom ...
