General Idea of Rules

General Idea of Rules

I don’t really like CBT, ruins, CEI, or denial. That being said, I’m open to all of those things to a certain degree on a “punishment” set. Scat, SPH, sissification, hard ball busting, and gay/trans are all hard passes, however. In general, the idea of getting punished excites me, so, this will be interesting … I’m not looking for excuses to be punished (Read: I’m not looking to be constantly punished), but, if it happens it happens …

Demerit System:

To make punishments more consistent across teases and sets, I have decided to implement a “demerit” system. I will keep my current number of demerits at the top of my rules.

Demerits are given at the discretion of the girls. They can be cashed in for punishments according to the chart below at any time during a tease (not just a “punishment set”), though I would prefer they be contained to certain “punishment sections” within a set. As of now, there is no limit to the number of demerits that can be cashed in during a single set. Any tease author can freely instruct the girls to spend any of the demerits in my general account. While some girls may wish to see them build up so that they can be spent all at once, others will want to spend them as they accrue so they do NOT accumulate into a devastating set … And some girls might just spend them because they are greedy and don’t want other girls spending them …

For 12 demerits, enterprising mistresses can open a demerit bank account, for a fee of 4 demerits. This means the account will open with 8. These demerits persist across sets and can only be spent by the mistress who opened the account. If a mistress has an account, she may NOT spend demerits from the general account. A mistress account cannot hold more than 20 demerits. To close an account, a mistress must deficit spend. She may spend until she has a negative balance of up to -5 demerits. The negative balance of the deficit spending will then be applied to the general account. After an account closes, the mistress cannot open another account until after a one month “cooling off” period has passed. A maximum of 3 mistress accounts can be open at once.

Half of the demerits accrued during a set get deposited into the mistress accounts, spread evenly between all open accounts with remainder points being distributed to the account with the smallest balance. All demerits rendered by a mistress account holder get deposited directly into her account. Other than Mila (who is an exception), I don’t have “punishments” built into my rules. So, if you include a punishment in the tease, I’ll take note of that and know how many demerits to deduct. Other than buying packs of CBT, you don’t need to state that you are spending a demerit … unless the mistress wants to rub it in.

Lastly, it might make for an interesting storyline if a girl who was NOT in my rules bought a mistress account ... She would be a dark horse I know nothing about and probably make some waves ...

Assigning Demerits:

Demerits can be given for any reason. Keep in mind that a 12 demerit punishment set represents a moderate punishment for me. (Ruining three times and eating it or ruining three times and ending in denial is something that would not be fun for me and make me a little uneasy … but also probably a little excited, if I’m being honest ...) 12 demerits is ALSO the bank account threshold, so, I will be motivated to try to keep my account below 12.

Giving out single demerits for being unable to complete impossible tasks or just for a lame or ridiculous excuse is totally fine. Just try not to abuse that (no more than one or two instances a session, please). Giving one demerit for edging when I am not supposed to seems appropriate. Not edging in time and only partially following directions both seem like one demerit infractions. Completely failing or refusing to do a reasonable task both seem like two demerit infractions. Having an “accident” (by hitting an edge too hard) or cumming too soon (when I was supposed to keep holding) is probably worth 6 demerits (though that is up to the discretion of the mistress). Giving myself a full orgasm without permission is probably a 12 demerit crime.

Not every infraction deserves a demerit, however, as some girls are willing to overlook failures if they know I was putting forth honest effort. While some mistresses will do everything they can to avoid giving me demerits, others will be strict. Check out my “Personalities” section for “inspiration” on how to adjudicate these things according to the “character lore” I’m developing … Always do what you want. They are just suggestions.

Demerits can be assigned during the tease or even in “post set feedback” (like in the feedback-on-feedback posts). Demerits from the general account can also be “forgiven” as a reward for doing well in challenges and tasks. My goal is not to accrue large amounts of demerits to be spent on punishment binges. Rather, I want to create an incentive structure to get myself more invested in the teases. Three extra edges is probably enough to erase one demerit, though, more demanding mistresses might require five. Holding the edge for one minute is probably worth forgiving 1 demerit, which would make holding a grueling five minute edge worth forgiving 5. Edging X times in Y minutes is probably another good forgiveness task. Making it to the end of a 40 minute Cock Hero video without cumming is probably worth about 6. Forgiveness tasks should be infrequent. Unless it is a dare/gamble/challenge, try to avoid awarding demerits for losing and forgiving them for winning. Demerits are to punish underperformance and bad behavior (though I try SO HARD to be a good boy …), and demerit forgiveness should be used as a reward to encourage me to go above and beyond.

Light CBT: 100 dick and/or ball slaps or ball squeezing for a total of 10 pictures.

Each demerit buys a “package” of 100 dick and ball slaps. Mix and match them as you like. Each instance of “ball squeezing” costs 10 slaps. I will squeeze for the entirety of the picture while I stroke/edge regardless of how long it takes. I will not track these during a session, so, it will be up to you to keep track, and if you are a little over or under … that’s fine, because any not used do not “carry” over to the next set. Just have the girl tell me how many demerits they are spending on CBT so I can adjust the balance after the tease. I’m kind of a baby with these and will tend towards the being too weak side. I am not a pain slut. The girls can “instruct” me to go harder, but, I will not go past a certain point.

For 12 demerits, a mistress can open a mistress demerit bank account (see above)

If I lose, I gain 12 demerits. Those demerits do not go into the general account (unless that is what the mistress wants) but instead go into a special “challenge fund” accessible only to the mistress who initiated the challenge. She may spend those demerits to open a mistress account (assuming there is an open slot), or, she may use them to assign me punishment homework. A maximum of one “It’s time to duel” challenge may be active at any given time. If the challenge fund demerits are not used within a week of me posting the result on the HMC thread, they will be transferred to the general account.

Yeah, it took me two and a half hours to make that set from end-to end. I wrote the script first, searched for a suitable gallery (the prison bars were PERFECT, lol … Angela has a LARGE number of sets out there …), ordered the pictures, popped them in, then spent at least twenty minutes reviewing, checking formatting, making changes … the effort level was a lot for what it was in terms of length … but … I put in easily over twenty hours on the everyone set … lot of learning curve type stuff … learned that nested spoilers stop working after ten … learned that some websites change their picture URL codes regularly, but, pornpics.com seems to be VERY stable, fortunately … because of that, I had to choose the intro set Lorena pictures three times … So, I really but in a lot of work and wanted people to enjoy it … So, when I found out you were locked in the basement and were undergoing “endurance training” … I knew what needed to be done …

I did not even think about how much your “custom” intro set would add to the everyone set … Yeah, that would make it extra rough … To be honest, I’ve never played through my everyone set. That’s, like, bad practice for EVERY designer, lol … not to test your stuff … Everyone is SO specific … to TRULY make an everyone set that works for everyone … yeah, tall order … At some point, maybe soon, I’ll try my everyone set. So, I'm having difficulty sourcing pics.

Understandably, Milovana doesn't want to store terabytes of data on their own servers, so, I get why they just pull in images from other sites. Pornpics.com has been my go to. Their selection of free samples has been amazing, and their links have been incredibly stable. I have never had a pornpics.com image link break. The problem is, because they are dealing in free samples, they basically NEVER post a set that is more than 20. So, if I want a scene in one of my sets to go over 20, it gets a little dicey.

I can reuse pics, but, as a player, I've always found that a little lazy and disappointing. I often get engrossed in my sessions, and, seeing the same pic again takes me out of the experience a little bit ... So, as a writer, I want to avoid doing that in my own sets as much as possible. If the duplicates are spaced far enough apart, it's not as noticeable, but, even then, duplicating images only gets you so far. If a scene needs 30 pics, that can be doable, but if it needs 40, that's not a workable solution.

SO ... the other option I have been doing, is searching through the results of pornpics.com for a particular model. Sometimes two different sites will post free samples of the same photo shoot. Often, there is little overlap between the sets. So, if I combine the sets from two free samples, that gets me up to 30-40 photos for a single scene, which is much better. Of course, the problem with that is twofold: It takes a LOT more time to search through a long list of results *hoping* to match up two sets, and second, that makes it MUCH more limiting in terms of options for setting and outfit ...

I know the simplest solution is to just have shorter scenes with the girl "changing into a new outfit," but, that can really disrupt the flow of the session. I just want to have my artistic vision carried out! I don't like the idea of being artificially constrained ...

So, then, there is the option of just finding larger sets. The problem with that, as far as I can tell, is that these full sets are probably illegal and/or pirated ... which, I don't have a HUGE ethical issue with that per se. (How much money are they losing from an old set? No one here is making money. What I'm doing is basically value-added free advertising for them ...) However, that means the sets are probably unstable and could come down at any time, breaking my set for anyone who wants to play it in the future ... Considering how much effort I am expending to write some of my teases, I would prefer to see them persist so that others could enjoy them in the future (as I was able to do as a long time lurker for many, many fantastic sets posted on this thread ...).

So, sourcing images for longer scenes has been difficult. I've checked the image sources of various teases people have posted to find a good sampling of where to go. Mostly, it looks like people have been using free galleries. I know Helequin has suggested pics.vc. Somehow, they manage to keep galleries of full photo shoots posted, which is great (with or without permission, who can say ...). They have a pretty good selection, too. The problem is, as far as I can tell, is that they change the image URLs for their galleries on a regular basis.

For example, last night, I found a great photo set of Mila on pics.vc that I wanted to use for a set I am making for BBBeanie. There was probably 80 or so pics in the set. The script I wrote for the scene called for around 45. That gave me a lot of creative options to work with. Some of the pics were *almost* duplicates but not quite (same pose with a slightly different facial expression), but, with 80 photos on a scene that called for 45, I had options to match up poses and facial expressions with the dialogue. I was VERY happy with the result. I log in today to preview the set, and every image is broken.

For another long scene for a different model, I was halfway through assigning images. Same thing. I go search for the gallery, and guess what? The gallery is still up. It's still there, but, clearly, all of the URL links have been changed. My only thought is that the site admins have coding on the site that regularly changes image URLs for galleries in order to prevent persistent image backlinking from sites like Milovana. I can't blame them. Forwarding images requires a lot of bandwidth and system resources. The large free site galleries probably have the server capacity to deal with that ... but, smaller operations (which may or may not be operating in countries which don't respect piracy laws) can't.

What is really crazy, is that as I was posting images and going back to preview them, SOME of the images were randomly breaking, but they were from the same gallery! They must have some bot that goes through and SLOWLY changes the URLs in an INDIVIDUAL gallery ... that's the only reason I can think of why none of the images were broken, then a few random ones (over the course of an hour or so I was working on the scene), and then today, EVERY image link is broken ...

This happened to me while I was working on my everyone set. On two separate occasions, all of the Lorena image links broke. After the second time, I decided to just link up two free sets ... actually, it was four. Two for the intro scene and two for the post game scene ...

So, what are people's thoughts? What do you do to get around these issues? I've already suggested several workarounds. In the future, I can just change the way I write sets a little bit ... I need to learn to become a more efficient tease writer anyway, so, avoiding long, involved scenes is probably for the best ... but, what can I do to salvage my set for BBBeanie that I am already heavily invested in? I have 3 scenes left. One is short, so that's fine, but, two are long. If I have to download all the pics and upload them to a third party site, I'll do it. Sunk cost fallacy be damned, my artistic vision for this set WILL be realized!

Scrolller is great for random galleries by category, but, it doesn't seem like you can link from there. So, I went to the source and tried reddit, but, I already noticed that at least one of those images got deleted from my BBBeanie set ... Any suggestions about good, stable, random galleries I could rapidly source from? TheChive.com has nice, curated galleries, but, they are all non-nude.

The set I wrote for Ecik yesterday took me 2.5 hours to make. It only had about 20 some pics, which, seems on the short side to me for a proper set. (What should my target picture number be in general for a proper set?) 45 minutes of that was writing the script, which was time well spent, because I enjoyed doing it ... but, I don't like the idea of spending more time writing a set than the user spends playing it ... For well-crafted, memorable, masterpiece sets, I wouldn't mind spending 3-4x the time writing compared to the play time ... and those sets stay up. Do people ever go back and replay sets? I don't want to spend a crazy amount of time on a set that is only played once, but, if I know it has the chance to get played multiple times, then, the investment seems worth it ... Also, if I write a great set that is memorable, like, months later, you think about it fondly and get a little chill ... well, to create an impression like that, the time spent seems worth it ... however, in general, that's not sustainable.

Zerg posted a spreadsheet recently. I've been mucking around in the native Milovana editor, getting my formatting correct ... For the next set I write, imma use his template and see how much that helps to get my time down ... (Also, I need to stop being such a perfectionist and proofreading and editing my scripts multiple times before posting ... at least on "normal" sets I need to write efficiently ...)

What are the guidelines/etiquette/community standards for story arcs? I know originally, the sets mostly were just pictures, but, more recently, the trend has gone towards more involved stories and sets that are connected by narrative. Obviously, most picture sets are easier and faster to write than story sets, and most people just like getting sets period ... there's no expectation that every set they get has a story ... that's just a bonus ... BUT ... for those of us that are interested in stories, how does that work?

Let's say, for example, someone comes along over a couple of linked sets, and gets a player locked in a model's basement. It seems to me, the player who did that has taken "ownership" of that plot arc and probably has plans or a general direction for the next several "sessions." I don't want to come along and "mess that up." Of course, maybe all they wanted to do was get the player locked in the basement and had no future plans and figured someone else would take over ... but I don't know that. Then, the situation becomes that there is this great story premise, but, nobody has plans for it and nobody wants to come in and take it too far or step on someone's toes ... so, what's the best procedure? What's the protocol? Should I just take initiative and go for it, like a first come, first served kind of thing? I know how long it can take for someone to write a good story tease. I don't want to wreck someone else's creation, especially when that author knows the player better and can better tailor the narrative to that player's tastes and expectations ... So, should I back off, or, is it the thread/"community's" expectation and standard practice that whoever is actively writing a tease should have license to go in whatever direction they want?

Do you "call dibs?" OR ... maybe ... if you HAVE plans for a little plot arc ... do you leave a note in a spoiler for anyone writing the next tease? Something like, "Hey, so-in-so is currently denied. I'm planning a special session where he gets a full orgasm. Please keep him denied or at most ruined until after that set. Thanks!" I think that could work. People who want a surprise are disciplined enough not to peek at their Christmas presents ... Right now, info like that seems to be kept in people's "Rules" section, which makes sense, BUT ... that is not fully helpful, because I cannot coordinate "secret details and plans" with other people who want to collaborate on the story arc ...

Open-ended games like this can be as simple or complicated as the players want. Perhaps another solution might be to open up a separate thread, where people who want to work together to craft a narrative can all collaborate. That seems like a possible solution ...

Helequin posted a few good sites to use back on page 1 of the Game (second comment overall). What i have been doing for my last few sets was to download pictures to my PC and then reupload them to https://de.imgbb.com/ . I used immagefap a lot, it has many long sets. It takes a bit longer but ensures that the pics will load properly and wont be removed.

Yea it can be a bit frustrating sometimes, especially when you have a story already written out and you just can't find a gallery large enough to cover it. I find that Pornpics does sometimes have multiple sub galleries from a larger gallery, so going through all the results for a model may show one or two more galleries with some more different pics in there.

I used Pics.vc for a while and they had a good amount of Galleries if the model showed up in the search, but yea now its become impossible to hotlink from there since they change the links constantly.

Now-a-days, I've been doing exactly what zerg has been doing, downloading the images from imagefap and uploading them to imgBB. It's been solid so far, I wrote a set for Helequin at the beginning of October with this method and the set still looks fine for when he eventually plays it. Imagefap can have larger more complete Galleries, most of the time 40 to 100+ images depending on the model. I use a program called Ripme to Download all the images in a gallery into a folder from just the link to the Gallery itself. Then I upload the folder to ImgBB from there its click on the desired image and copy and paste into Excel or in the Milovana text editor.

In regards to your comments for longer story arcs that last over a few sets. Usually when I start one for another player in a set I'm fully aware that anyone can then continue the story in their manner and I don't mind. I usually don't plan multiple sets ahead. I did this for redditaddict a while back, I planned multiple sets and depending on his feedback the story changed over time. I feel like if the story arc is within their rules you are safe and can no doubt write a set in that theme without stepping on anyone's plans as the intent there is for others to write a set with that theme. So for example, Right now the theme for me being in chastity while I make sets for Helequin is fair game for anyone to use that theme to tease me in a set as that's what was intended. Also The theme I have for Helequin Right now where Tori Black and friends have him in a house to give him orgasms is also fair game in my book, Since the deal was I have to make him sets that make him cum, doesn't mean Tori and friends wont tease the shit out of him while I try to convince others to make him cum. So Overall I don't think its a big issue to use someone else's over arcing themes so long as they make sense and don't completely change the theme in the process. And if you aren't really sure if making a set will step on anyone's toes try messaging the person who came up with the theme and ask if its alright if you continue it.
