But then Tom heard me walking up the stairs, and got up and retreated toward the door. He was terribly embarrassed, since he was still totally naked.
"Uh-oh," Crystal said, "Is that your wife?"
Tom hurriedly backed up to the door of Crystal's room and made an elaborate show of wishing her good night.
