Then "Lovely" said, "I don't know, maybe I should save myself for marriage..."
"You could do that," one of her sisters said dubiously, "but don't you want to work on this research project with Dr. Pavlova."
"I don't know," "Lovely" said, "doesn't it sound very suspicious to you? Living here in this house with Dr. Pavlova's husband?"
Tom interrupted, and told them that maybe they should just go home and think it over first. On one level he was glad to be able to get out of the situation without fucking any of them, but he still felt desperately needy.
