The Devils Their Due (by The Crimson Kid) by cactusman

Barbara, your beautiful and loving wife, has been teasing you all morning about your ex-girlfriend Brittany's eagerness to "collect her due" on a basketball bet. You lost this bet to Brittany. Brittany lives just a short horse ride away is scheduled to ride over and collect what's due her shortly. And now you hear a horse riding towards your country house.

"That's Brittany's horse, isn't it?" your wife asks with a smirking smile. "Boy, it sure sounds like she's in a hurry to get here, dear. It's too bad your team, the Tar Heels played pretty much like they did last weekend, eh?"

They played even worse, you reply unhappily. You say that you didn't think it was possible for them to play so poorly...

"Oh dear," Barbara remarks with mock sympathy, "This doesn't sound good for you, dear. So how much did they lose by, sweetheart?"
