Away with the Faeries

Away with the Faeries by Svejk

Its a beautiful day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing in the trees. It would rude, an insult to mother nature not to take advantage of a day this beautiful.

So, you decided to take a nice long, relaxing walk in the forest, away from the stresses of work, life, all the stuff that gets between a man and what he really wants, a little bit of peace and quiet.

You pack a little lunch drive up to the woods, park, and set off.

You walk a couple of miles, climb up a steep hill and pause for a breather and a quick swig of water at the top. Nature calls, so you step away from the path to take a piss.

You make your way back to where you left he path, but can't seem to find it right away.

Something seems different. You look around a bit, maybe you got turned around. But, still, no path. In fact, even though you've been up here many a time before, you don't recognise this part of the forest at all.
