Beta Testers Part Two
I woke up in bed, in sweats and a tshirt... huh? how did I get here. The last thing I remember was Molly... oh fuck... what a mess. Was she still here? I got out of bed feeling wobbly and weak and made my way down stairs.
"Oh good you're awake!" I was startled by a woman I had never seen inside my house.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Dr. Abella. It seems you've had some adverse reactions to the testing.... Molly notified the office and they sent me in to take care of you."
"Oh um thanks ... is Molly-"
"Molly has been assigned back to the office, unfortunately as a handler she is a bit out of her depth on your case. But don't worry this is totally normal, it happens to so many Beta Testers, we're still working out the kinks you know, and it's totally safe."
"I-I-I'm so sorry I hope I didn't mess anything up..."
"Aw Tim don't worry, have a seat and I'll talk you through next steps."
"Okay" I sat down.
"First things first, we're giving you a break from the headset at least until we can make sure you're health is safe. I have vitamin boost I'll be administering and I'll be monitoring your health. We've called in a trainer for some PT. And if we deem it necessary we have a Therapist on call for your mental health. Now I'll be moving in temporarily to make sure we have 24/7 monitoring, but don't worry we can have some fun. Maybe if your status is trending positively we can have a little pool party this weekend."
"Uh this is a lot to take in."
