Beta Testers
The headset was lifted off my head by Remy.
"Welcome Back Tim! How was your first adventure?"
"Uh wow sorry I'm a little ---"
"Frazzled? That's totally normal Don't worry about it. Now could you tell me about your experience?"
"Uh sure, it was ummm, well a little embarrassing on some levels."
"Oh don't worry about that, trust me you should've seen my first time." her giggle put me at ease.
"Yeah I mean I guess I hadn't considered it's looking for optimal response stimuli. But it felt smooth"
"Did you feel safe Tim?"
I paused.
"Well excluding the danger of the game of course."
I thought for a second, I hadn't really realized but I did feel safe.
"Yeah it was ... well... Holly made me feel really at ease."
"Good, it's important to develop a healthy relationship. Now Tim, management has seen to it to clear you to have a device at home this week. Molly will come over around 6:30 to get it set up but then you're on your own. We won't track usage, but we expect you to be diligent and should something come up just let us know."
"Oh cool so I don't have to come back in to test?"
"No not yet, we've found better result when beta testers can use the device casually on their own time."
"Great"
I headed home and made sure to tidy up before Molly arrived.
