As I was getting in to my car my phone rang.
"Mister Roberts?"
"Yes speaking."
"You're requested for onboarding for your stay in Arcadia. Please report to 609 Alura Lane."
"Ummm sorry I had other plans this morning"
"Oh I'm sorry you'll not be allowed around town without the proper onboarding. There are laws in our quaint little village."
"Uhhh sure fine, I will be there soon"
"Thank you for your compliance"
What that's weird. Onboarding? What is this a company.
When I arrived I was surprised to find a beautiful young woman. I recognized her voice from the call. I was shocked such authority could come from someone so unassuming.
