Here is the part where you can make sure that he keeps his promise.
Do you have a digital camera in the house? Or a camcorder? If you want, go get it and capture this moment forever. You can tell him that you'll email it to his friends if he doesn't keep his promise.
You could also use it to blackmail him in many more ways, but I'll leave that up to you. :)
I can just imagine his shock when he hears the flash go off!
