Summer Daze Part 1
I finished my smoothie and opened back up my lap top to begin the second orientation session... I was immediately greeted by a video Dillion.
"Welcome back Sam, as I mentioned on your first day you'll be helping with an incredible new AI Project TESS. When you first booted up your work laptop TESS was already beginning her work. She ran a diagnostic network search to learn as much about you as she could. She scanned your web traffic and devices connected to the network."
What the fuck.
"But don't worry, your intern agreement stipulates all of this data will be private and deleted upon completion of the program. And we're not too judgey here at InBeta. This afternoon's session will be your first meeting with TESS and an orientation for you both. We've found clients respond best to a physical representation of TESS so she has built a model based on her findings that should suit your interests. Her attitude, wants, and general demeanor should suit your personality needs as well. Don't worry about taking notes or anything Tess will catalog everything for us live. We ask that you put your headphones on and begin the session as soon as you're ready."
I placed the headphones on. A program box opened for TESS with a Launch prompt. I took a deep breath and clicked.
