You finally arrive at the door to the laboratory. Abby shoots off a text and knocks twice.
"I'm sorry again about Max. Please stop by my desk before you leave. Henna is our head chemist, and she'll answer any questions you have about the lab. It was so nice to meet you, and I'll pencil you in for a one-on-one with Max tomorrow at lunchtime if that works?"
You thank her and note how nice she is. You try to take a mental snapshot so you have something to do when you get back to the motel.
