Drifting away from Lexi
You try and disagree with her but she shuts you down.
"Look, just go home. What you are looking for is taped under my bedside table. Just go home, enjoy yourself and I'll be back so we can talk about this ok?"
Lexi speaks quickly and almost hushed, as if embarrassed by your intrusion.
Being given permission to enjoy yourself was a big bonus and you are not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. You leave, apologising to the ladies as you do.
