Drifting away from Lexi
You spoke to Lexi as much as you could while she was away for business.
Her modelling career took her all over the country.
"Am I behaving myself?" she returned sharply when you questioned her.
You tried to explain you asked out of concern for her as you were not used to her being away.
"I can handle myself sweetie."
You apologised, again forgetting she had been without you for a long time, this was normal to her.
