Your frustration determines your reward. The amount of times you had to ruin your cummies is the basis for what you are rewarded with.... however, some may not be a reward. Here's the line up
Ruins:
<5: Edge for 5 minutes, then ruin it and leave.
6-8: Edge for 3 minutes, then continue while holding the edge...
9+: Edge for 1 minute, then continue while holding the edge...
